Really great people at this place. Never been to the Queensgate branch before but they are the only one open in a Sunday which is an awesome business move!While shop was clean and very professional looking as was the lady that did the waxing.She was extremely professional and the whole job was over really quickly which again for an waxing speed is if the essence.Best of all she obviously new how to apply the wax as I managed to walk away with all my skin intact where some others I’ve been too can sometimes strip a nice layer of skin off in the waxing process.Highly recommend to any guys needing this type of work. A++

Very disappointing experience with W&L. I was client of Wax & Laser for 2.5 years, from 2019 until end of 2021, during which time I did laser treatments.Sadly, my results were very poor, which I raised with them several times. W&L have a guarantee in place, and they may give you 5 free sessions if you purchase 8 of them and at the end of those 8 sessions, your results are poor. This was my case. As I am not a subject matter expert, I assumed that after 13 sessions I would see better results. This is what I was being told too (they estimate an 80% hair reduction, but make you sign a form stating that results are not guaranteed). As I didn't really see better results after my 13th session, I raised this with Wax & Laser again, and then asked for a refund, but offered to go in for an assessment so that they could see the results themselves in person (I had sent them photos).During this time (post treatments) my interactions were via email with Roger Thomas (owner of Wax & Laser Limited with his wife), who flatly rejected my request (I ended up requesting a part refund, as I also acknowledged the cost it was for the company to provide me with 5 sessions under their guarantee). I never got an answer in response to my offer to go in for an assessment. In my unsuccessful email interactions, it was suggested it may be due to hormone imbalances or PCOS (quote) we have a long experience of treating clients with this condition and they do need to receive regular ongoing treatments because the hair grows back in exactly the same way yours has".In response to the above communication

Just got my Brazilian wax done from the lovely Barbara.I was quite scared to do it but she Was so professional and talked to me the whole way through it and made my experience really good! Will definitely be coming back to see her :) the girls are so lovely and welcoming there

I arranged a full body wax for a friend for a stag party. I made this very clear both in the online booking form, and then verbally over the phone, and there was never any issue raised. When we arrived, the business refused to serve us. When asked why, they bounced between various excuses, from his costume, to not wanting a large group on the premises, to the therapist not being interest (we offered to have him change clothes, for the group to wait off -site etc), they weren't interested in any of it. The poor stag had to be waxed by non-professionals which caused him substantial discomfort.....

I was greeted by staff who were very friendly! Had a BW done here - first time in MANY years & it was an awesome experience. I was a bit nervous but Danielle made me feel really comfortable. The conversation flowed & before I knew it, she was done. Amazing results too. Thank you for the great service!

From my first time has been excellent service, of course painful but very professional staff and made me feel extremely comfortableSad to be moving away but when I back in Wellington I will always arrange to see Barbara for my waxing needs

Went here for my first leg wax yesterday (first ever wax). They were very professional, friendly, and informative.The wax was surprisingly painless and fast.The girl who did my wax was really friendly and easy to talk to.Would highly highly recommend this place.Will be back next time.

I love getting my Brazilians from Danielle (Dani) at wax n laser in the hutt! Personally shes the best one I've found to give Brazilians.
