Orere Point TOP 10 Holiday Park

Well It is a camp site with amenitiesThere are a few things that the grounds keeper and Management could do a lot better on.Toilet and showers are cleaned daily bins are pickup and emptied out. Main Kitchen could have some more kitchen utensils at the moment there is only one Pot to cook in which is not enough for all other participants and campers to use at the same time.The games room needs better attention as all ply tables are in very bad shape mostly broken or missing parts. Play ground at the entrance needs tidying up there are weeds growing every where and wood nails need driving in on the benches and plying fram. All staircases on the footpaths need cleaning daily from leaves covering the path and an adequate safety handrail is requiredHandrail by the River at the top is dislodged and broken and the other handrail on the staircase going to the kitchen only has a nylon rope and it does not suffice health and safety. The upper swimming hole has a toddlers pool been left and neglect with grass and weeds growing in it it wouldn't take much to clean out and to reseal and to have in working order with river water flowing through making a nice area for parents with young ones.

This was the worst top10 ever! A few ladies in a shower block and we haven’t managed to get the hot shower. All had cold shower at the end. Too many ppl and amenities are not looked after. I have to say quite a good swimming hole there! And not far from Manukau. But we would never stay here again despite we’ve got top10 membership!

We stayed here for the first time recently and we really enjoyed ourselves. Although there was a mix up with our initial site, they quickly relocated us to another site. So many activities for the kids to do. Swimming hole was close and very refreshing. Campers were friendly and amazing! The only slight down fall is the one shower in the area we were based. We will definitely be back tho!

Great spot to stay for a first stop if you are getting a camper from Auckland. Very friendly staff, nice swimming hole at the river.

Not to top 10 standards. The facilities were quite old and basic and I am used to top10 being a lot higher which is why you pay so much. The staff were really friendly but the over arching religious side of it made me quite uncomfortable. I wouldn't stay here again

Quite religious, surprising for a top ten actually. Bathrooms were very dated, but clean, water pressure was super bad. Wasn’t a bad holiday park but I wouldn’t have thought it was up to top10 standards. I wouldn’t have a problem staying here again, but wouldn’t rush back either. Location is awesome, right on the river.

The owners/ caretakers of this property should be very proud of themselves.I am not a religious person at all but if cleanliness is next to godliness this is the place to be.Everything was so clean, kitchen, laundry, bathroom and the gardens are beautifully maintained.I've never been to a park so lovely!Cudos to you.

A very friendly and super clean, well maintained holiday park.Orere Point is well located for the adventurous with mountain bike trails all around as well as some great walks in the Auckland Regional Parks.We'll be back for sure!

Me and my partner arrived late the first night and the office lady was kind enough to wait 2 hours after reception had closed. When we arrived she was so lovely, helpful and welcoming, she even offered to walk us to our site in the dark. The campground and facilities were very clean. Highly recommend!
