Our experience here was overall mediocre, the food was delicious and delivered very swiftly but the service provided was 'meh' to say the least, the lady tending to our table was not attentive at all (Only visiting a few times to deliver food, not asking if we need anything e.g beverages, more food etc) - unlike the man behind the counter, if he had been our waiter the experience would have been much more enjoyable.The atmosphere in the restaurant was fine, the music was at a decent volume, the decorations were lovely and the warm colors made the place feel very welcoming.

Love bollywood always a pretty reliable tasty feed.Ordered delivery quite late last time first time I've been disappointed I'd rather have had a cheese toastie and saved myself a heap for a very average feed.Ordered delivery tonight hoping it was going to be as usual, not disappointed it tastes yum but.......dal fry should have lentils in it right? It's super tasty but it's just sauce someone forgot to add the slow roasted overnight lentils"Cmon guys love your food and happily pay the asking price and for delivery......often......don't rip me off!"

Incredible flavours of india!We had a quick holiday in Mahia and wanted to finish with a bang when we returned to Gisborne. Wow, what a delicious meal it was. My Chef Special was simply gorgeous. My wife had her favorite extra hot Vindaloo! It was amazing. Our entree Garlic tikka was juicy, tender and so tasty. Mushroom and peas rice was so flavoursome and Nan breads cooked to perfection. Our waitress greeted us with a beautiful smile at the door and sat us down with our menus. Didn't take long at all before we were eating our favorite dishes. So impressed with this restaurant and the waitresses. Thank you.

I went here because this place has been giving away free kai on Sundays for those in need! (Not sure if they still do). So with that in mind I thought what a lovely place to go dine and spend our anniversary.The ambience was lovely and bright, we ordered a platter for two which was devine! I then ordered a fish curry which unfortunately was a big let down as the fish pieces was battered and then put in the sauce, and tasted bland. I was hoping for tasty filleted fish in a curry sauce. When I bought it to the waitresses attention she said she'd let the chef know, however I wasnt offered a replacement after waiting 20 minutes I had been forgotten about as the place filled. So that was sad as we had spent nearly $100. My hubby had ordered a seafood trio which he did enjoy. We also got our first two beers poured and served into glasses our second beer was bought to our table in the bottle :( I will go back however simply because I think they deserve a second chance!

Entree's, mains, lassie, lemonade, naanFantastic meal. Love trying new dishes. Never disappointed. Serving was fine. Restaurant interior is still good after all these years.
