Specifically went there because I had an entertainment book app that gives me 25% off. Was told I couldn't use it. Nothing under the terms to say the voucher was location specific. Was then told 'I wasn't told about this, it's probably for the Tawa shop'. Asked if the guys was the owner and he said he was but refused me using the discount. Bro, you run a franchise! All in the name of a fiver. Will never ever return out of principal!

When to upper mall to shop for Xmas present decided to shop and get a coffee and muffin, raspberry and white chocolate muffin is to die for coffee was amazing. Service was very very good.

Was very disappointed when ordering a toastie at 4pmish the other day only to be told the grill was switched off because they were closing and my coffee would come in a takeaway cup for the same reason. So when I was at The Mall at 4.30pm today I didn't visit thinking they'd probably switched the coffee machine off by then too! It would be good to have clearer signage stating that closing begins at 4pm and cold takeaways are all that is available.

If I could leave less than one star I would.I ordered a coffee, when it came it was not what I ordered so I took it back. After about 10 mins I asked where my coffee was? Then they started arguing with me saying they bought me a coffee but I didn't want it. I said all I want is ehst I ordered. They made me wait a little longer then I got my coffee. It still wasn't right but I just drank it and left.

Ordered a filo today. Sadly it was microwaved so arrived soggy and tough, also half cold. More layers of the pastry were uncooked rather than cooked and not buttered between. I was a little saddened when they offered to reheat it.....in the microwave again.

Terrible service! Arrived and got accused of pushing in at queue. I apologized to the lady I supposedly pushed in front of who said no you were here before me. Girl serving never apologized just looked grumpy that I was ordering. Got a custard square but when went to eat found it was hard and tasted like butter. I asked the waitress nicely if it had been in the cabinet for a few days and showed her how it was dry and not nice tasting so she took it away. I thought to replace but no!! Nothing so I asked her if she was going to replace and mentioned I was happy to have raspberry slice instead. She advised she would ask. Never came back!! Never told me they would not replace or no sorry! Left around 20 minutes later after being totally ignored. Told her on my way out I would be making a complaint! Her response 'what over a piece of slice' absolutely terrible service! Worst cafe experience ever! I expect decent food if I am paying hard earned money to buy it. Rude and not prepared to stand by a freshness replacement or even offer it. This complaint will not stop here! I will post in other arenas!

Really nice food and good coffee.Considering this is a small outlet without a full kitchen, these people manage to create and deliver exceptional food.I definitely recommend this place if you want a quick bite to eat with a coffee.
