I felt like I was at home, is just a perfect spot close to the ocean if you like surfing is a dream house, in a clear day you are able to see Stewart island and the host are easily the best I ever met on all my traveling.lf you are in the area and they are not fully booked this place is a must.Love it, wish to go back one day

A nice out of the way place .a few miles from the town of Riverton .peaceful countryside.and lovely views of the sea and Stewart Island.short walk down to the beach..cooking facilities are easy to deal with..if you love Horses they have a few in the paddocks..

Lovely site, nice owners but can't rate accommodation as we live over road so don't need to stay there! Sheltered setting.

Great hosts and accommodation. Right on the beach with Stewart island views. Warm and cosy and very well kept. Hosts very helpful. And close to town. Definitely recommend

We spent two nights in this lodge. It features 4 bedrooms, one large common room with a modern and well equiped kitchen and one shared bathroom. The common room is very cosy and has a tv, a oven and even a guitar. The beds are VERY comfortable. Everything is very clean and in good shape. Surrounding area is covered with sheeps and horses and offers a magnificent view over the ocean. The hosts are amazingly nice and helpful! We felt very welcome and were sad to leave!

Beautiful hospitable accommodation. The proprietor was lovely, there were horses and sheep, and it’s right next to the beach. Would recommend.

The most beautiful location, incredible views and lovely to have the animals right outside your window. Hosts are super friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place!
