Simply poor and shoddy workmanship. The new souls fell off after one day, when I came back to get a refund he kept money for labour and only refunded me $12.50 of the $35 charge and he kept the souls. Dodgy and dishonest - stay away

Save your money, do not go to this shop. Paid to get my daughter’s heels fixed and after one day of wear they snapped again. I went back to the shop and asked him to fix it, because it was such poor work. He wanted me to pay more money and when I refused he yelled at me and put my daughter’s shoes outside. He then proceeded to continue yelling outside the store saying that I needed to get out of his shop. He threatened to call the police and I waited for him to, although he never did because he KNEW that he was in the wrong. Save your money and find another repair shop

Do not go here. Paid a huge amount to have boots reglued and they broke on first wear. He redid them and they broke again and he coloured my leather boot in with vivid marker! He screamed me out of the shop when I asked if I could have my money back.

wanted payment before doing the repair and when I said I would pay when the work was done he went off his face, even coming into the street to abuse me

Short version: Would use again in a pinchLong Version: Ok...so I was a bit strapped for cash and I needed a pair of shoes for a wedding. I had a pair of shoes but the sole was coming off one of them. This was a quick and cheap solution. The workmanship was ok - you could not see that they had been repaired. The little old dude who looked after me was nice. He was a bit doddery so that made me a bit nervous (it was a windy day and I feared he would be blown over should he step outside). The shop was locked when I came to pick up the shoe and there was no one to be seen. I could see the iron was turned on so he must have been nearby but, quite frankly, don't leave it unsupervised...it is just not safe. After 10 minutes of waiting and fearing that I was about to attend a wedding in one black shoe complimented with a jandel on the other foot, he showed up. He may have been having a kip out the back I think. Oh well, crisis avoided.I would use them again if I was desperate. They are local and I drive past the shop each day.

You pay for what you get, price is cheaper than other cobblers within the area, but workmanship is terrible.

Low quality and sloppy workmanship, high prices. Put black soles on white shoes, edge of the rubber looked like it had been cut with a bread knife, jagged and uneven. It fell off on the first wear and the after service was as terrible as the workmanship.

Paid $80 to get mum's shoes resoled see photo to see outcome after one wear. Went back to see him and showed shoe with bottom part of sole completely broken off. He started yelling at me when I asked for money back. He shoved shoes at me, pushed me out the door yelling at me that it was my elderly mum's fault and he was going to call police. I did yell at him he was a crook and a robber. He is a crook and a robber who takes no responsibility for his poor workmanship. $80 is a lot of money to a pensioner to be ripped off. Take your shoes for repair to this charlatan at your own risk!
