I engaged the Free Range Chef to cater for a formal sit down 3 course diner for my husband’s 60th birthday.We could not have been happier as to how the evening turned out. Right from the initial meeting nothing was too much of a problem. Stephen came up with a fabulous menu which we selected options from. Dietary requirements were catered to with ease. The food was absolutely SUPBERB.The wait staff were extremely attentive the entire evening. Plating up for 40 guests involves precision timing and this was performed seamlessly. Having the Chef explain the menu and wine matching also added a special touch to the evening.The Free Range Chef comes with our highest recommendation and we wish to thank the whole team for an incredible dining experience.

Where do I start?! Free Range Chef are absolutely amazing! I recently had a small wedding and asked Free Range Chef to cater for our day. From start to finish the whole process was a total breeze and actually a lot of fun to arrange! I worked with the amazing event manager, Alyssa, who helped me organise the whole catering side of things. She was so professional and helpful and I am so grateful for all of her guidance along the way. Also the chefs are amazing! It was really lovely to have him onsite cooking our amazing meals and it was so much fun as well to have them there in amongst everything, it made the whole atmosphere super fun. Their menu is exquisite, everyone was really impressed by the quality and presentation, it was just beautiful. Also, very impressed with the timing of the meals and everything, the whole catering process just went so smoothly on the day. It was fantastic. I am so grateful for such amazing service, attention to detail and for making the day so lovely. Can't recommend this team enough!!

We booked the gourmet BBQ for our outdoor spring wedding and can't sing the FRC teams praises more! Alyssa and the team were amazing in both the lead up and execution on the day. Nothing was a problem, they adapted so quickly to the changing weather without an issue and we felt very looked after the whole day. We got so many compliments on how amazing the food was, in particular the vege options. Can't fault a single thing and look forward to booking them for any future events!

We chose the Gourmet BBQ catering option by Free Range Chef for our Summer garden wedding which was held at my parents property. Everyone was blown away by the delicious canapes and dinner. The wait staff were superb, and ensured everyone was well fed & watered. They didn't need any direction on the day, and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. My partner Gary and I had Free Range Chef cater at our recent wedding at home. We couldn't compliment them high enough. Their professionalism from the start was outstanding. Nothing was a problem in terms of any questions we had, they gave us great advice and were very accommodating of anything 'bespoke' we wanted. On the day their team was fantastic - both the chefs and wait staff. All our guests loved their food. Great flavours and it just kept on coming! Perfect for a backyard wedding.

We were seriously blown away by the food and service your team provided on our wedding day. The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious, every dish! On of the biggest comments from guests was how fantastic the food was, from people who would not normally branch out so much to that cuisine, to others who said it was the best food at a wedding they had every had, even one of the vegetarians saying it was the best tofu he has ever had! Haha.The service your team provided looking after guests drinks, helping the bar and setting up and looking after the grazing table was just an absolute bonus too! It was really fantastic to see guests cared for and attended to.

We had Free Range Chef cater our intimate wedding at our house in November. What an experience!!We initially chose FRC because over every other catering website we found they were really transparent from the beginning, they had great photos and their website was really straight forward. Even though they weren't local to our event we chose them because we felt secure in knowing they would do an amazing job.On the day Molly the waiter was incredibly friendly, helpful and had great initiative, it felt like we had an old friend with us!Stephen the chef made the most incredible meals for us which were presented so beautifully and tasted exquisite! All of our guests were raving about the food!Rachel was great to deal with over email and phone. She was responsive and fast to reply on email and was super flexible in making the day flow exactly how we wanted.
