Failed a WOF on a leaking front shock absorber. Had a new one put. Experienced some noise and stiffness when turning the wheel completely, came back, they put some WD40 and said it will loosen up with time. A year later failed WOF again in an independent WOF testing facility, went to a trustworthy mechanic to be told the shock had not been properly mounted and was completely worn out. Had another put in and surprised to more stiffness and noises.

Booked and paid for a pre-sale inspection on the 14th of december to have it canceled almost immediately. Was told I'll get a refund in a couple of days" they lied because it's 7 to 10 days and the guys just clearly couldn't be bothered with angry customers. Thanks for putting me out of $200 RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS! If I could give zero stars I would. Only got refunded today 9th January."

my daughter faced a problem with her van. mechanics were friendly and explained her all details. exhaust manifold fixture was down as well as gasket. they fixed it within 3 hours and the van went back to the road ;-). to check over the distance but very satisfied up to now ;-)

Always great service every time I go here, they give recommendations on what you may need and, when possible, give you the option of repairs by them or an alternative.

Always take my car here ,for service warrants etc the guys always helpful and friendly.

These guys did extensive work on our Holden Commodore, timing chain, oil pump, among other things. They were very clear through the entire process as to what needed to happen and left us under no illusion about cost. We have used several mechanics around the Timaru area and none of them even came close to the service offered by the team here. Would highly recommend anyone needing a vehicle service to consult these blokes before even considering any other workshopEDIT - Took my vehicle back to these guys as they did a great job on a large repair a year ago. Took our vehicle to them with the parts needed for replacement of the shock absorbers. It took 3 attempts and the shock absorbers are still not fitted correctly. So I would definitely NOT recommend anyone take their vehicle here after this shambles. Let me be very clear, ALL parts required for the shock absorbers were supplied but the job was, and has been, done very haphazardly. Clear problems and can see where specific washers and mounts have been fitted incorrectly. So in summing up, if they can whack their exuberant % on top for parts, you are treated very well. If you supply your own parts, well then your parts aretreated extremely poorly. Almost to the point where I am considering asking for them to replace them as the shock absorbers were fitted without boots initially. Now the boots are there but with no retaining utilities to hold them in position. As such, the boots have fallen and are slopping around the shock absorbers and not keeping any dust out of the shocks. This is likely causing premature wear and tear on a product that has a 3 year warranty. Time will tell if their failings have ruined my shock absorbers warranty too!

Every time I have called the team they have got me in on late notice and had my car ready within a few hours..Quick service and I feel like they have gone the extra mile to make sure I got the best service.. definitely reccomend

I am an AA member so I wanted to try the Platinum service on my car. I wanted to make sure that my car is in good condition before going traveling. Unfortunately the service did not meet my expectations at all. The service was to take about 3h but it was completed in only 1,5h. It would not have been considered as a problem but:The man at the reception was not interested at all. He just wanted to get paid as soon as possible and did not say a word about the service and the car condition. So after paying and few minutes of silence I asked him about the brakes and overall condition of the car. He seemed to be frightened and confused and it looked like I was the first person asking this question in his life. He just replied with a stern answer that the car was fine with just a few minor issues and brakes were fine too. He did not specify the issues at all. The main thing that unsettled me the most was that I was not warned neither got any information about two issues that I have known about before getting the car serviced. These two things should have been checked during the service. Air conditioning belt in totally bad condition with obvious cracks and a ripped piece of a cover hanging down from the chassis. So I asked him also about these two things. He was confused again and I could clearly see that he did not know about them. So he went to ask his serviceman and he came back with the answer that it was just a piece of rubber and it is OK to be hanging from the chassis. About the air conditioning belt I was only informed about the price of replacement. This is quite odd and unprofessional.The whole experience was really negative and sad. For the best and the most expensive type of service I was expecting a report or at least to be warned about the obvious problems. I did not get anything. It filled me with uncertainty and fear if the service was done properly.
