Chipmunks Playland & Cafe Wigram

We went there for a birthday party. Car park is not marked with lines. People had parked wherever they wanted in a line but using lots of spaces that made the car park full with some unused spaces.Very good customer service.I’m not sure about how they clean the playing space. But this need to be done regularly. Toilets weren’t seen to be cleaned regularly. I didn’t see a recycling bin to throw the recycling items away. This is sad.This is a good place for children to play and people to chat but need more standards.

A great place to come on a rainy morning. I really appreciate that the staff were so kind and friendly. The play area was great and suited to older children. My two year old had a great time but would enjoy it more in a year or so I think. The slides were amazing and I only wish adults could up on more!I've taken away one star because parts of the playground could do with some maintence. Split padding or cable ties with sharp edges meant you always needed to be aware.

Entertaining for lots of ages. Kids had lots of fun and the staff were friendly and helpful. The party was great and kept the kids quiet for a wee bit

Really nice playground for children, nice to go there when the weather is bad. It's pretty big but not too big. The playgrounds surround the middle where you can sit down for a cup of coffee and watch your kids from there. I would say it's better to come with kids from 3 and over because a lot is not for children below 3 years of age. The entry costs are low and the price for the drinks and food is very reasonable. The kids meals even comes with a drink. The fries were very salty, could have been a bit less because of mostly kids that eat them. The Salmon Bruschetta was really nice and tasty, also pretty big for that price. Be aware that a couple of things cost money like the carousel or (offcourse) the machines that have souvenirs/toys, but it is only 2 dollars and some are one dollar. There is a nice big carpark and a couple of toilets that are very clean. There are also rooms upstairs for kids party's.

Well, what can I say. I'm a little disappointed. Because there is no place and toys for very small ones. Only one inflatable slides and climbing walls. I'm sorry, but neither I nor my son had fun here. It is also very expensive for a child of 1.4 months. I will not return here.

Really disappointed with how filthy, dusty and tatty all the play equipment and sitting areas are especially upstairs the equipment has ripped stitching, patched and faded covers even the stuffing/padding In quite a few of the stairs and play equipment is in desperate need of replacement. Papanui is much nicer will not be coming back here look at amount of the dust on the up stairs balustrade....... yuck

We just had my 5 year olds birthday party at Chipmunks in Wigram. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Everyone had such a wonderful time. Would highly recommend for any children’s event. Perfect for the little ones and great for parents to catch up while the children play in the safety of the play areas.

The small kid area is quite small and crowded with all the rides in it and a huge water bed. While the big kid area is decent size must gives big kid priorities, very strict rules in a number of areas. May be a good place for older kids but we find it quite limited for the younger children. Car park signage is not very clear, would be helpful to put a sign up to indicate where is the car park for chipmunks. Generally clean and tidy. But we saw some parents walking in small kids area with their shoes on.

We usually go to Wigram as it’s closer to us. The ball pits are great fun, and the venue caters to different age groups, so great for groups or siblings at different ages and stages. The infant section is a little small, but it’s gated and safe for the littlest ones.My daughter had a fall at this venue, and the management have been exceptional. They have assured us they would add signage and extra safety measures to prevent future accidents.Overall a great place to come if you want to burn off some energy and escape the weather.

Brought 3 kids here to play during the school holidays, it was great to be able to do some work and have coffee delivered to me. Note I sat upstairs to work to minimize disturbances. Kids had a great time and I was able to work. Win win
