The lady at the counter was nice, but couldn't (or be bothered) offer any help with bent hinges on my expensive glasses purchased at Sunglass Hut. Her advice was to go see Sunglass Style a couple of shops down... One star for the advice, they were amazing and had them fixed super quick.

Great experience when making a warranty claim on some Oakley Metal Holbrooks (that are a little fragile) last Tuesday, late afternoon. Simple and straight forward, with a replacement provided straight away.

The selection is great at Sunglass Hut, however I was just in store and a young kid stole about 5 pairs of glasses. Talking to the staff, it is a regular occurance and they are clearly distressed at having to deal with this so often. Might be worth having full time security to deter theft and look after staffs mental health.

By far the worst custom service we received. We bought 2 sunglasses, 1st on full price with the 2nd at 40% off which was bought as a gift! When we went the next day to exchange as my husband didn’t like the 2nd piece - we were told the exchange was possible, but it had to be of the value that was paid for. We would have understood that would be the case if the sale had finished. However the promotion and the sale was still on. Whether the sale was misleading as clearly they were not honouring the promotion for 2nd item being exchanged. We only wanted to have the 40% applied to the exchanged item, given it was within the promotion period.This was so ridiculous and I hope Sunglass Hut improves their customer service and misleading promotions!

It was a fun day, the Christmas parade was happening on lambton quay and I needed a pair of shades, so I just walked in to sunglass hut. At that same time they had some great upto 50% off sale going on. The staff there was very cheerful, they approached me and asked for what I was looking for and suggested me some designs according to my preference. I finalised my payment and then before leaving the manager she briefly explained to me about the policy on the glasses warranty and also signed me in for a new account. So hopefully I will be shopping for more glasses soon. Thanks for the wonderful service, cheers to the team at Lambton Quay.
