I was afraid I would leave New Zealand without tasting a lamb dish worth the reputation of the New Zealand lamb that is popular all over the world. Finally I got to taste exactly that, the evening before my departure I went to Degree at the Auckland wharf and ordered their stone-grilled lamb loin.Quite innovative that they served me the lamb raw on a hot surface, letting me grill it exactly how I wanted it.It was simple and delicious, I was impressed.

Had a fantastic time at Degree! The fish bowl drinks are to die for and can easily be shared with 3+ people, making it an inexpensive place for college students and above to drink and dance the night away. The vibes in Degree are phenomenal and I’ll definitely be returning again!

Love this place for their eats! Had a salad, lamb shank and mash then Belgian waffle for dessert. We were pretty stuffed and probably didn't need 3 courses but it was delish and worth it. These guys also do really good fish and chips and will upload a photo when I find it.

I have been there a few times. Food was really good with just the right amount served. The place is clean and tidy. Staffs are very welcoming. This place has a good view for relaxing and to browse the viaduct harbor.

A place for people who are not worried about the service and quality of music. We were there twice and the music was not good, the hit songs were remixed in some strange style, and a lot of unpopular songs, so most visitors just sit and drink, apparently this is the policy of the bar. Orders are served for a very long time, I roughly calculated it, it takes about 20 minutes for two cocktails from the bartender. That is why I think many people end up leaving this bar. I hope the owners will be attentive to the reviews and will pay their attention to improving the service and music.

The best were the staff, very professional and super friendly. We ordered a change of sauce in a burger and it was all fine. The menu has an Asian section but in fact it all tastes slightly Asian and spicy. I didn't feel like Asian so I ordered a Risotto. That cannot taste like Asian or be spicy...but it was. It just said risotto with peas, mushrooms and parmesan. But the mushrooms were done in some kind of sweet and sour sauce and there was a final touch of hot salsa on top. Very disappointing. I wish they would mention if dishes are spicy or have something unusual about them.
