Came here for drinks over New Year and menu looked great. Last night we dined outside with my doggo and it was so good. Food and cocktails were delicious. Generous seafood portions. Best espresso martini ive had and ive had a fair few in my time....Thanks team!

We had a lovely evening, the decor is very cool and could be anywhere in the world. We enjoyed the cocktails and food ordered, although not all our mains arrived and sadly had to chase up.The staff were keen and willing, but we didn't get to stay all evening as planned, with the venue closing earlier than we had anticipated. However, it was still a lovely night being out, over drinks and a tasty dinner.Fine dining in the Golden Bay, look forward to returning again in the future.

Yes the most awesome place to eat in Takaka I believe. We had the scallops and prawns with a kumara salad. Sooo good thanks people. May be back tomorrow night.Yes came back Saturday night and the brilliance was the same. Food is just so 1st class. Takaka you are so lucky to have a restaurant of this class. If anyone is in town, it's a must do I believe. Thank you all❤️

Excellent! Friendly and helpful staff and beautifully prepared dishes. Cocktails are a really good option too. The chef transforms a simple cauliflower into a moreish dish in its own right. As for the beef, lamb, zucchini and asparagus, all delicious and cooked to perfection. Having an outside table in the beautiful shaded and planted garden courtyard is a must on a sunny day. One of the best dining experiences of the summer. Highly recommend!

I love this place, the decor is super quirky there's awesome funky music playing and the food is just epic, sooo so tasty! Compliments to the chef's, and thanks to Dorian and Zoe for the amazing service. Looking forward to coming back, cheers guys

What a beautiful setting, the food is excellent, everything we had was delicious, the zucchini with chilli/ honey nuts and strachitalla cheese was yummy and the creamy pasta with chorizo and prawns delicious and the waygu steak with a roasted red pepper sauce topped with crispy beetroot chips was amazing. We had a super mai tai cocktail with lovely dried pineapple garnish. A bottle of Italian Primitivo was much appreciated. The churros for dessert with chocolate and caramel sauce ended our meal perfectly. The staff were super welcoming and knowledgeable. Thank you Alexis and Peter.

Lovely food, great atmosphere and excellent service - 8 of us had a awesome evening last night. Loved the scallops, the fiery nuts, the cauli, thetaradito ( butterfish on specials menu) etc etc - all the dishes had delicious sauces. And we sat outside in the lovely garden, although the inside looked like is also had great options. A must for our next Golden Bay trip.

Awesome cocktail selection, lovely staff and the food is absolutely delicious. If it's warm, sit outside and enjoy the tropical views and the lounge music. A must do in Golden Bay!
