Events Auckland marquee and party hire

Hired over $1000 worth of products for our wedding in February. All tables and chairs were dirty/mouldy and required cleaning before use. No one offered to help load the items into our trailer but instead watched out 60 year old mother struggle instead. Very poor customer service indeed!!!!!

When i called to ask for an invoice so i could pay i was told i might get it that day or another. Never replied to my emails unless i really complained. Worst customer service i have ever had. Was given instructions to build a 6Mx12M and told to half it as we had hired 6Mx6M. Screws were broken, threads were broken. When the gear was returned no help was given to remove the cement blocks to weigh down the marquee.I will never hire from them again, shocking service, poor product quality. Overall first and worse experience hiring party equipment.

no communication on day of delivery, could not get hold of anyone at the company to find out why they were 3 hours late.took them basically a month to return the bond back

Il admit that after reading the reviews on this company i was a little hesitant to book but due to their amazing prices (and us being on a strict budget) i thought i would give them a chance... let me tell you, i was NOT in anyway disappointed.We purchased one of their 'wedding packages' for the 10x20 Meter marquee with ALL tables, chairs, linen, dance floor, lighting etc and what we received was nothing short of beautiful.Communication through out the whole process was great, delivered early since they had a busy week which worked great for us and pack-down was fast, clean and very efficient from their team.I am not one to usually write reviews but because of their current reviews i wanted to let people know how much of an amazing experience i received from this company. Their marquee with silk lining, chandlers, pretty table clothes and dance floor made my wedding lovely and perfect.Thank you to the team at Events Auckland, we really appreciate your hard work and beautiful products.

Dont let the cheap prices fool you!Not only did we receive the white chair covers full of stains and marks but we were advised weeks before pick up that we can get our bond back on the day that we deliver the hired goods back. We arrived there on the day, the lady did a half ass checked the things and advised she will pay us the bond back after a few days. We immediately kicked up a flight and the lady agreed to refund us. She took our card and refunded it on the eftpos machine but we were just advised by the bank that we wont received the money for up to 3 working days because it hasn't been cleared. The lady must've known that but decided not to advise us of that! These people are snakes. Do not use their services.
