I was quoted $150 to clean carpet including stains. I answeres Richard's questions regarding what the stains were and specifically told him one was black cake icing. Once he arrived (after emptying 2 lounges and a bedroom) he said that he won't get the stains and he didn't realise what they were and it would still be $150 without any stain removal attempt, in fact it would be a minimum of $150 a stain. I did tell him that he quoted including stains and its his job as the professional to ask the right questions to give the right quote. He complained as his hoses may not reach as he assumed he could assess the garage and tried to reneg completly. We didn't have time to replace him unfortunately but I wish I'd read these reviews. I will be putting in a complaint regarding the false quote.

Unfortunately our young Tennants chosse this person to clean the carpets of our cottage upon vacating and left him the $195 cash he charged them (for a tiny 2 bedroom 70sqm) on the kitchen bench. Perhaps that's why he decided to venture out to clean in a level 4 lockdown? In the full 20 minutes he was there, he did a very rough job, there was still food sitting on the carpet that was easily lifting away under my nails. When I called him about it he was very defensive and argumentive, and certainly wasn't interested in making things right. We got our Kirby down there to spot clean and it did the trick.

I would definitely use Richard's services again. I am extremely happy with the outcome of my carpets. I found him very professional and conscientious. He quoted over the phone. I had no idea what the stain was on my carpet and he explained he would review this when he arrived. He managed to remove the stain as I hadn't tried to clean it myself and it hadn't been there long. I would definitely recommend Superior Steam and Dry.

Gotta say alarm bells should have been ringing when this guy said to me the carpets weren't gonna come up as good as they should -What I should have heard was 'I'm not very good at this'It took 30 mins to clean 3 bedrooms, lounge, dining and stairs!!!!And charged $150. This was for a rental vacate so I had to pay for them to be cleaned again - but there has been no compromise in a refund for such a dismal unprofessional job.My advice is to steer clear of this person and hire someone thats capable of doing a better job

Not only that I would never use this service again, but I lost faith that people will do their job if you leave them unmonitored. Paid for carpet washing, found carpet just vacuumedCompletely dry, no smell of detergent at all. Not a single stain was out.The worst service ever!
