We were so delighted to find some where to have Peirogi, after all the craze about dumplings for years I have wondered what they tasted like but never found a vegan and gluten free version that was also soy free (I have 100 allergies) it was so lovely to meet Kate and see the passion she has for her business and food, you can definitely taste it! We absolutely love the Peirogi joint, there is something for everyone!

Went here with my boyfriend just before closing after seeing their cinnamon buns on social media... and wow were they worth it! The cinnamon buns are the most delicious ones in the city, I can't recommend them more, especially as a wee dessert snack as the store is open till 8pm weekdays. We were served by a lovely, friendly lady who really made the little shop feel welcoming. Will definitely be going back to try more things out!

Omg my first time trying this while we were at Otautahi Smoke festival these ladies are absolutely amazing and the jalapeno popper dumplings with mac n cheese and a sausage with those amazing onions and that home made chutney omg i will be definitely be ordering from you to keep a very pregnant Canadian happyThank you for your smiling passionate service event after doing multiple events in the day

Yum yum yum!! Where do I even start? Pierogi's are a delicious European Dumpling and Kate makes them down to a fine art!! She also makes an amazing dessert (as pictured), and delicious cinnamon buns! Pierogi's can be ordered online and collected from her kitchen in Hillsborough, or you can find her at the Saturday Markets.

We are lucky enough to be next door to Pierogi Joint and we love the food. Our staff stops in to get lunches and and Pierogi Joint accommodated our last minute platter request at our Christmas break up which it was a big hit with all the guests. The food is delicious and the staff area great. Highly recommended

Iam Doordash driver, your address was not correct at the time pick up of order and even after that somehow I reached to the correct address by help a gentleman on wrong address. When I arrived at correct address I found your restaurant was closed. Customer got disappointed as well, because she ordered food and in.the Doordash App it was shown that restaurant was open but it wasn't in actual.It was hassle for me and customer.

Loved the perogis here! The owner was super friendly and obviously very passionate about her business which is great.We tried the “Old School” and the BBQ Chicken which were both really delicious. The Old School came with bacon, onions, sauerkraut and sour cream and the perogis themselves cooked to perfection.We will definitely be back.Just one small suggestion- it would be great to offer a smaller size. I am a fairly decent eater but I struggled to get through one of these for lunch. And I know based on what my friends can eat, they would too. I hate wasting food so would love to see a small size option and be prepared to still pay a slightly lower rate for it.
