The walk to the Giant Rimu Tree is a brilliant 45-60 minute return walk along a well laid rain forest trail. A lot of the trail is up hill on the way but the going us not too difficult and of course it's downhill on the way back. The tree is very impressive for any nature buff. The car park is small and on the side of a gravel road. There's enough for a few cars but beware that if you have a large motorhome over 7 or 8 metres you may have trouble turning here. Well worth the walk!
