Metro Indoor Sports

I've been a regular player at Metro Indoor Sports for 21 years. The facilities have seen a lot of changes (for the better) since the new ownership. I'm impressed with the level of professionalism by the refereeing team, the improvements of the floors and scoreboards and the team spirit that permeates every aspect of life at Metro. It feels like one big sporty family and has become a home away from home for many of us.

I have played at Metro Indoor Sports for over 20 years. In the last few years, since a change in ownership, the venue has been completely overhauled, and is now better than ever. The staff are great and the atmosphere is fantastic!

Metro is a great venue! I have been playing indoor cricket there for almost 2 years now, also tried my hand at dodgeball and netball. The recent court resurfacing/upgrade has been a big improvement. Very professional team and always a fantastic atmosphere.

Metro Indoor is a totally awesome experience! They have so much to offer whether its sports or off court banter.Its a very organised, well ran place to be which means games are always on time ready for the next.Already Looking forward to the next season of cricket! keep it up

A great place to go and play social sport but most of all a great place to make friends! The owners have really invested a huge amount of time and effort into the facilities to make them top notch and they care about the people who play there. Been playing at metro indoor sports for 16 years and it's going from strength to strength!

I wish I had known that metro was around sooner!!! I have played both netball and dodgeball at metro for the past three and a half years. I love how friendly the staff are and how much fun I have when I am there. It's social and while games get competitive the social atmosphere is what I love the most about it. If you want to meet a bunch of awesome people and play some sport this is the place to go!

Metro have a variety of sporting competitions to suit indoor enthusiasts. Staff communicate well with teams about this respond well to feedback. The new surfacing on the courts was a worthwhile investment.Inflatable world is good fun for the whole family too.

Awesome venue for indoor sports at both a very social and competitive level. The new owners have recently upgraded the courts, scoreboards and sign in system which are now as good or better than anywhere I've played in NZ and Australia. Great range of sports on offer - including a great dodgeball league! Staff are always incredibly helpful and friendly. Umpires can sometimes make mistakes on rules, however if brought up to management, they will go over the rule and either explain to you why the rule is enforced as it is or work on some extra training for the umpire. Overall this is a brilliant place to play sport and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Metro Indoor Sports is a fantastic place to play sports and meet new people. I have had the privilege to be able to play a whole range of different sports from indoor cricket to dodgeball for close to a decade. Over this time the place has gone through a major transformation with Bryan and Mike taking over. There are new courts, scoreboards and facilities for people to have a drink and hang out after playing sport. This makes the whole experience enjoyable both on and off the court.
