Showed up on time at the start of the Hauraki Rail Trail in Waihi with two excellent bikes well maintained. Picked them up after we were done. A pleasure to deal with.

We are a group of friends from Australia. We booked 8 Avanti Discovery Bikes from Adventure Bike Hire earlier this month. Des met us in carpark at Waihi train station. Set us all up, adjusted seats, checked tyres and helmets. We had a day hire. Bikes were well maintained and good quality. We can highly recommend Des from Adventure Bike Hire Waihi.

Easy to use online booking system. Very prompt email response when one of my group was injured and needed to cancel. Great bikes - we got the hybrids. Des was friendly and helpful. Lovely trail

I have used Adventure Bike Hire twice now (4 bikes each time with drop off and pick up in Waihi). For both times I booked the day before, and no problems at all with delivery next day. Booking system itself was easy to use with a variety of payment options available, and bikes themselves were of great quality. All in all a very professional experience!

Des was most helpful from the initial contact, getting us to the start of the trail, transporting our luggage to the next day accommodation and picking us up at the end. The e-bikes were well prepared and everything was thoroughly explained.Des’ support helped make the Hauraki Rail Trail a great experience - definitely recommended.

Great company. Prompt replies to all my queries and re-quotes - (sorry)! Bike drop offs and pick ups were on time with friendly staff. They were more than happy to rearrange our journey due to bad weather at the last minute. Highly recommended.

Fabulous service. It was easy to book, hire, pick up and drop off a bike. The bike was a dream to ride. Helmet and lock was included as well as maps. Definitely check them out if you're looking for a bike on the Hauraki Rail Trail.
