Lovely staff, very accommodating for making Diary Free food. Tasty and original food.

Would definitely recommend staying at this awesome hotel. Everyone is really welcoming and helpful. Thanks Ian. Staying here is a great experience if you love historic houses. Love the wood paneling especially.

We sat outside as we had our dog. The lady brought our drinks and said oh I'm surprised you have been allowed to sit here it belongs to another cafe" we could not see the other cafe that was open and we looking to see where we could move to. When a vicious little old woman came out and started shouting at us to move. Saying we were inconsiderate for not moving after we had been told. (We hadn't) I say ok we will cancel our food. She started screaming that we wouldn't get a refund. She was the most unprofessional individual I have ever encountered. My advice is to eat elsewhere

Food looked great, atmosphere looked great, prices a bit steep, unfortunately rude and dismissive staff. As I'm a slow coffee drinker, and always end up taking it with me I asked for a coffee in a takeaway cup with some brunch, request was refused, and they would only supply in a cup, and then if any left would pour into a takeaway cup for me. reasoning, saving the planet, fallacy is that I would need a takeaway cup anyway, and coffee would end up getting cold, and it would save them washing the cup, this turned into a bit of a stand-off with the server (to be this rude she must have been the owner), Ended up she wouldn't compromise, and neither would I, as her logic made no sense, ended up cancelling the order, and her response was off you trot then"By turning down one person and being rude to them

Fantastic, great hosts and lovely building. We loved our stay and will definitely be back for a stay longer than the two nights we stayed. Love Clyde and we now have a new favourite place to stay. Thank you Ian and Meredith

Fantastic little cafe with a lot of variety for gluten free, dairy free and vegan. I had the buckwheat waffles which were filling, tasty and lovely and crispy. Not many hot breakfast options for someone who doesn’t like eggs though.
