Township is literally walking distance from here. The grounds were nice and tidy and the rooms were excellent in my opinion. They had all the things you'd expect in a room. Kitchen area was nice with all the basics like oven, fridge, jug, toaster, microwave and all the white ware, cutlery, pots and pans. Few coffee, tea and sugar pkts. Bathroom towels and toilet paper changed and restocked daily. X2 trampolines for the kids. Friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi with smart TV and it's Netflix, YouTube etc for free.

Accommodation is average. Although clean the bathroom ceiling was covered in mould and the tiling was not done by a professional tiler and looked very much like a patched up job. Self we’re friendly accommodating and helpful.

Very disappointed with this company. Multiple troubles with the ebike I had rented from them. Had 3 replacements on the section we did. No compensation offered apart from if we returned we could get free bike hire. Obviously we are from the otherside of the world! The owner wouldn't even come to speak to us about it.We were not able to catch the train due bike issues and so did not complete the ride. The crank fell off at one point. Obv we will not return as we are from the other side of the world.

Shane set us up with 2 mountain bikes in perfect form for the ride to Horeke. He took a lot of time explaining where to catch the cycle trail and what to expect on the it. His driver John picked us up in Horeke about 10 minutes after we called. At $50 per bike and $50 per ride back to Kaikohe, it was a much better deal than the other outfits that we rang.

Convenient place to stay in Kaikohe.Service was good. Just the room I stayed in needs little attention.Carpet smelled wet (did not feel wet), so I had to set a fan up to get some fresh air in, but I chuck that up to Cyclone Gabriel.Unfortunately, the bathroom needs a bit of attention as I could see some mold on the wall and sealing.Other wise cozy room with close by town center.
