5 stars in all areas.The food was amazing and the depth of flavors were just spectacular. Every dish was telling a different story.The food came super quick and they also cater for vegans which is a plus.Our waiter Bronson was an absolute legend and made our experience here even more enjoyable.We will be back again for sure and I recommend this amazing place to everyone to give it a try.

We were so looking forward to our child free date night. The weather was horrid but it was warm and welcoming inside Lantern. We just received our drinks and the fire alarm went off. Sadly, it wasn't a drill. And while there was no fire, we were evacuated in the pouring rain. Staff responded quickly and communicated well.After about 35 minutes, we returned to the restaurant. Staff kindly hung up my drenched jacket to try and dry.The rest of the night proceeded without hiccup. The food here is consistently beautiful. Fresh, flavorsome and filling.Both the front of house and kitchen staff recovered the night so well. Special mention for the kitchen staff having to leave in the middle of cooking and start dishes from scratch when they got back in.Really well handled and food and service great as always.

It was overall very good, the pork belly and prawn toast were very good dishes. The service was excellent so props to the staff, the lamb curry was the only dish which was not to my taste, I found it a bit on the bland side. The prices maybe a fraction too high for what you get, but I feel like that's everywhere you go these days.

A little hard to find as there is no direct parking to the entrance, and it probably wouldn't be advisable to take someone in a wheelchair as there is no good paths. Finally we found it and weren't disappointed as we entered. Very friendly staff, engaging and chatty, what I love. The seating was very comfortable and the place itself warm and inviting especially in such a windy day. We tried from the menu some familiar and new dishes and they didn't disappoint. Pork, duck and chicken with a birthday cocktail and glass of wine which went down well. We will be returning customers to try your $70pp menu.

Honestly a bit disappointed because it has such a high ranking on Google Map. I carefully read all the reviews and this is only based on my own experience.The Garden is delightful with many greens. Not authentic Asian dishes, but still worth a try. Food is okay but overly priced for what we got. The service was really awkward for us.I'm happy with the portion of my green papaya salad. But I can't understand why they sliced each prawn meat into halves? There were only a very few and weren't even big. Seems awkward if it's to make them look more.My partner got an overpriced Massaman lamb curry for $34, rice for extra $3. Only several slices of lamb. He said the dish was too salty. I tried a bit and I like the curry base.Again the food tastes absolutely alright, it's just we had such high expectation because of its price and the 4.8 scores, what we wanted was not only fancy plating.The last point is some awkward moments of the service.When we arrived, the restaurant was really empty, but the lady chose to seat us at a table right next to the only customers at that time, instead of wherever else. So we asked to sit outside, we wanted some own space.What really embarrassed us was the person who came and said would be looking after our table. During our lunch, he came so frequently, creating very needless and awkward conversation out of courtesy. I understand he was trying to be nice, but his approach was too much. Not every customer wants so much attention"
