QT Auckland

We had a wonderful time staying here for 3 nights. Very modern decor with very comfortable rooms, excellent food options, and very nice staff.Location was excellent with easy access to the ferry, sky tower, britobart, and lots of restaurants/nightlife.Rooms were spacious, comfortable beds, and luxurious bathrooms/towels.Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for seeing the city center area.

Room was dusty, not clean contrary to reviews on this page. I am a pregnant woman who called ahead to get assistance with parking and my bags. I was told to double park my car in the street for 10 minutes and someone would park my car for me when they were free (they only have valet at $50 a night and this is not how valet works. I also would have been liable for the fine had a police officer fined me for the illegal parking suggested by hotel staff). Once we found a legal spot near by, I checked in where I was met with a young lady who was quite rude. When asked about parking and bags I was ignored. I then had to bring my bags into the hotel, again I am pregnant, with no trolley or assistance. On check out, I was asked if I used the mini bar, to which I answered no. We did not use the mini bar nor even eat on the premises. 2 days later I had a charge to my account for a drink that was apparently taken from the mini bar. The hotel has falsely accused me of having drink from the mini bar even though it was confirmed on check out I did not use the mini bar. The charge was also 2 days delayed. Surely the room would have been cleaned prior to that, but going off the dustiness of the room, they seem to have low standards for cleanliness. I have requested a refund twice to which the hotel has ignored the request. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed with my stay at QT. Very poor customer service on their part and I am still awaiting a response. As a manager in the services industry the way we were greeted and treated throughout the stay was poor and I urge people to spend their money on a better hotel.

My husband and I really enjoyed our two nights stay at QT Auckland. Great central location! We were able to discover a lot of Auckland city from this location. Loved the modern, quirky décor. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. The executive room was spacious and we were fortunate to have the balcony to enjoy the sun and views. The room and the common areas were very clean and well presented. The room had enough switches and charging points and I was impressed to see affiliation with Six for good who provide quality products and contribute to children's charity. The room service was excellent! We enjoyed the food and the views from the rooftop bar and also enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners at the exceptional Esther restaurant. Highly recommend!

Loved my stay at QT Auckland. The room was great and very comfortable. Loved the amenities and also the shelf of wine available for purchase was cool. The design of the hotel is very cool, and Esther was a great spot for pre-dinner drinks.

There's so much to love about this hotel - great service, comfy beds, stylish dining. But please can I have some more lights in my room? It would be perfect for vampires but it was a bit challenging for me.

I have booked this hotel for the dates May 31st and June 1st 2023. The entry was good on May 31st, the receptionist was very helpful. Rest all was an awful experience. The room air conditioner didn't work in the night, I have to chase the receptionist at 2AM in the morning. The response from them was very terrible, not expected to respond to the customers in that way.Next day, I went to office and had a very hectic day, When I'm back to my room, they didnt clean the room and the manager Nehal ( sorry If I get his name wrong) answered irresponsibly to saying we will clean alternate days. This was never told while booking the hotel and I never had an experience in any other Auckland hotels where they clean room every 2 days. Very terrible terrible behavior from the manager and I expressed my unhappiness on his face.I definitely wont recommend this to anyone if they continue this behavior. This was commented before I left the hotel on June 1st. Previous experience with other hotels in the close by area was much better than this

QT Auckland is quite boutique with only about 150 rooms. They are all well appointed and suitable for business and leisure. I wouldn't recommend the lead in room category for business travel as there is no desk. The rooftop bar is really cool and the food very good. Recommend the 4 Pillars Shiraz gin and tonic. Staff is very attentive. The only reason for my 4 stars for the rooms is that the decor is a bit dark for my liking.

This hotel is just superb. The Restaurant has a very good menu selection as does the drinks section. You have to taste the food to appreciate how good it is. Staff are very efficient, friendly and polite. A place well worth a visit!! Pricing is very reasonable too. We were visiting friends who were staying here and they were very impressed with everything and informed me that the rooms were also 5 stars.

Absolutely dismal service. From pulling up to the hotel to checking out. Totally unprofessional and lacked any sense of care. The room was average. We had the lovers retreat package and we had keep asking for all the things that should have been included. The rooftop bar is the only redeeming feature however is over priced. The room styling was really trendy. But then lost points on lack of privacy and comfort. Would not stay again. If you want premium go stay at Park Hyatt
