Kawhia Beachside Scape Holiday Park
Stayed here about a month ago. I can't fault the place and the owner went above and beyond what he needed to make us feel welcome. Conrad offered to smoke some fish we caught and was still enthusiastic about the process at 10pm! Stayed in beachfront unit and they are right on the waterfront. Clean and have everything you need. If ever back in Kawhia will definitely stay here again.

We had to call someone to the unattended reception office when we arrived, but there was a number posted on the door for this, and he came out very quickly. He was very friendly and hopeful, and showed us to our ensuite cabin. It was either brand new, or very recently refurbished, it was in such good condition, and very clean. The bathroom and kitchenette were spotless, and everything you could need is right there for you, right down to shovels if you want to visit the hot spring beach at low tide. If ever I'm in Kawhia again, I would love to stay here again.

The street views don't do it justice. Had a great little spot that backed onto the beach and it was perfect. Quiet, hear the beach at night, clean facilities and grounds. Recommend

The non-powered sights are right on the water - very beautiful and serene. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Common areas are nice as well. Big kitchen with 4 stations, plenty of indoor and outdoor eating space, and a game area open 24/7.

Just wonderfulBooked a campsite for 3 nights but on arrival the weather turned hideous. They were super kind and let us change our booking despite having other guests. They were so helpful to accommodate us and let us be a pain, moving all around the placeThe facilities are very clean and well looked after.Rooms are great and it was lovely having a dry place to sleep on a nice bed.Spa pool is great rain or shine!We left before we could thank you guys properly, so thank you so much for making what could have been a bit of a miserable situation so lovely and memorable.Can't recommend this place enough, for sure we will be back!

Great place right by the water. Clean facilities. Showers are hot and great pressure. Free spa, kayaks and paddleboard. The host Conrad is fantastic and makes certain you have a great stay. We definitely recommend a visit to Kawhia Beachside Camp

Very friendly staff and probably the best camping location in the area if being by the sea is important.Met some great people Here, nice and chill atmosphere.Units are very basic, unfortunately the grounds are unkept and amenities are either past their use by or simply broken.It's just a shame it's being run down as with some love thrown at it, it could be so much better.Wouldnt rate it great value but Would def for back .

I used this place as a base for my fishing trip. Excellent rooms & hot showers. Also, a double fileting station for cleaning the fish is a bonus.

Was time restricted and only stayed one night but definitely would've stayed longer if we could've. Beautiful location. Facilities are immaculate. And sweetest hosts with smiles as big Aotearoa and even bigger hearts. Keep doing you. You guys are amazing.Highly recommend.

The place was full the night we were there. Small park right on the water, with lovely views across the Tidal flats. Kitchen is well equipped, and the activities room has a free pool table.Easy walk into main town and a short drive to the hot water beach.Thanks for letting us stay
