Always an amazing experience to enter the Holliday’s shop. Items are of the highest quality. One is blessed with facts about the prominence of pieces of interest. Barry is a true gentleman as is his son Jason. Repairs are of the highest quality. Gary is amazing with restoration.

Barry & Jason Holliday are amongst the most knowledgeable antiques dealers I know. They stock and sell antiques that are authentic andof very high quality. Their shop is a treasure trove and their friendliness makes every visit a joy.

Holliday (or his son...?) is one interesting antique himself. I entered their store to inquire about appraisals, but dissapointedly the only notable knowledge I left with was of the extent of his severely inflated ego. After looking at me in a way meant to belittle my obviously unwelcome casually attired person (I am, as it happens on holiday, which was in part ruined by Holliday), and laughing brashly at my innocuous queries, he informed me in his excessively nasal voice that I was better off just looking at" my possessions rather than bothering him with my business. After enduring his sneering for far longer than any person with a healthy self-worth should

Extremely over priced

I just couldn't be happier with the stunning repair (invisible) of my antique candlesticks. People with these skills should be treasured as we strive to be sustainable in an ever increasing disposable world. Barry and his son Jason are true gentlemen and I could stay chatting to them all day! Their magnificent shop is a little haven of tranquility in a busy world! Thank you for the wonderful job you have done and the pride you take in your work.

I found them extremely helpful and friendly. They restored a framed needlework made 5 generations ago. Almost looks new.

We have done some work there and the shop is full of beautiful old kind of furniture.

They do fix china, silver and wooden things. I don't know about wood but I was a bit disappointed with the results with some figurines. An average result - better than a home repair. Enquiring about repairing some 1800's wooden chest jewellery boxes and I was told that they didn't have some materials so it would be better if I did parts myself. I didn't feel they were really set up to handle more detailed repairs.
