Absolute Rip Off my car travelled 2kms from the central cbd to Quay street and it cost me $420.00. I hope everyone submits a Dispute Tribunal to get some money back from these scammers.

$460 for a tow from Newmarket to Queen street. Disgusting price. As a review below mentioned, what's stopping them charging what they want? $70 Auckland city charges for a tow. Some people will really struggle to pay that. An obscene price to pay. F* everyone who supports them or uses them as a tow in their parking spaces.

Absolute disgrace that these guys are able to operate. $420 to get my car after it was towed less than 1km from where I parked it. I suspect they have a deal with the companies using their services to alert them straight away when a car is parked in a tow away zone so they can zoom over, take your car and extort $420 out of you.

Please someone give these poor child some money. Ridiculous team. I paid $420 for nothing. My car got towed by saying I parked it in Private Property in City. There no sign of anything like No parking or private property. The person who towed the car was laughing on my face for my this mistake which I am not even aware of. Totally ridiculous.Hopefully government provide some fund to these poor guys so they can run there company. Instead of looting people.

Absolute leeches. $420 should be enough to enrol their employees for basic etiquette lessons. For that price I'm expecting dazzling customer service and a complimentary car wash, not whatever they've currently got at their reception.

My daughter was driver for the day, driving my car. She parked my car in a parking area by Akld Uni with no signs or markings. In hindsight we probably shouldn't have. We were gone 10 minutes. Came back car was gone. Thought probably towed by whom we had no idea. Nothing was left to say by who or where it had been towed to. Not Akld transport. Two gentlemen pulled on beside us and said it had been towed by Akld Towing a private towing company. With out them telling us we wouldn't have had a clue where my car had gone. Long story short it cost us $420 to release my car. Our fault we parked in the wrong place but my complaint is I had no idea where my car was. There was no sign or anything to say it was a tow away area or private parking. But nothing to say where it had gone was scary. Thanks NOT Auckland Towing you made a great day out with my daughter and grandson a nightmare. Ok

this place is terrible… I got towed during a uni class and was only in there for one hour, came back and my car was gone. there was no towing signs where i parked only ‘private parking’ sign which was on the ground and very faded. thought my car was stolen but saw the tow truck towing another car so i called them, they were very rude to me and were not considered at the fact i was a struggling uni student, spent $420!!! get my car back, absolutely ridiculous!

Rented an Airbnb and parked in a spot that was allocated for the apartment we booked. Checked out the next morning only to find the car had been towed, called the towing company that was on the wall directly infront of the spot and they hadn’t towed the car. Called the police line to find the vehicle and they confirmed that it was Auckland Towing. The lady at the reception is an absolute nightmare, when I called her to confirm they had the car she said she wasn’t in the office, only for us to see her there as soon as we arrive. Rude, demanding, arrogant, insulting, ignorant and impolite are a few of the colourful words I would use to describe her. She demanded the money and wouldn’t hear a word we had to say. No customer service skills what so ever, no smile, no kindness and an overall lack of respect. $420 for the tow & $40 for over night cost, ridiculous to say the least. If your having a car towed from a parking lot, please do not use this company.

Honestly what's stopping me from creating my own towing service and charging $1000+ to get your car back? It's not like you really have a choice. There has to be another party involved here to certify it / make it legal cause otherwise towing a car away is just elaborate car theft. Whoever endorsed this company also endorses the ridiculous fees

So the lot off Airedale Street is apparently private parking, guess what though? No signs anywhere. They do this on purpose because they make way more towing cars than charging people for parking. See 10+ cars get towed every weekend. That's 420$ each time, instead of a measly 20$ for parking. Smart, but a scummy way to make money. This is why they don't have signs on that parking lot.
