My boyfriend and I booked ourselves into a full day jade carving session with Charlie. It was, without a shadow of a doubt, the best experience we had here in Nz (and we have been travelling around NZ for around 2 months already). Charlie was patient, super skilled and had so much knowledge about the stone and the different tools and techniques to achieve different effects. We spent all day there carving a price of jewellery for each other and I was amazed at the final peice. Neither of us had any carving experience prior to this and have both created something quite amazing. Best $150 ever spent. If you do anything in rotorua, make sure it's this. A truly unforgettable experience.

Came here in 2014, the guy at the shop was super helpful and explained everything, it felt completely different and worlds away from those other jade shops around Rotorua that just cater to tourists! Thank you for the experience!

The carver (Charlie) was so helpful and accommodating with what I was looking for. On top of that, prices were incredibly reasonable. I left thrilled after such a great experience (and getting what I'd been looking for) and highly recommend this place.

Thank you Lewis for helping me to make a kouauau from a piece of albatross bone. Very kind and welcoming. This store has a beautiful selection of pounamu pieces made right there on the premises.

The knowledge and service was impeccable, we were shown around and the guy was so friendly and went above and beyond for us. Our 4 year old has left with the most beautiful necklace and we will definitely be back. Thanks again team.
