Hunua Bird Life
really lovely lady at the hunua bird rescue, she took in a young tui that my brother had saved at short notice and on a public holiday. she was extremely helpful and I highly recommend this rescue for any native bird rescues.

Hunua Bird Life
We found an injured sparrow outside the house; ringed Marleen who offered detailed guidance via texting; we eventually decided to drop the bird to her at Hunua for extra care coz the little sparrow can’t walk or hop. Marleen is very patient and helpful. The bird life is huge with many birds recovering there. I hope the little sparrow will recover soon! Kia kaha!
