I’ve had a few treatments here before and have enjoyed them very much. Today I had an amazing and relaxing Votary wellbeing facial with Ayu who was wonderful! The ladies at reception are also lovely and everyone I’ve met here seems friendly. Love the new look and vibe of the place, I feel totally relaxed when I’m here. Thank you :)

Got Codage facial. Although it was 30min, it left my skin feeling super moisturised and smooth for days. All the staff are lovely and I definitely felt pampered after the treatment!

Just had the pregnancy massage here, late in my third trimester. Such a wonderful experience!! I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to have given there’s a bump in the way but they had all the bolsters, wedges and pillows you could need. I was very comfortable and the massage itself was definitely one of the best I’ve had.

Staff do a good job. Great massage. 30 min manicure was very basic. I was expecting lux but got basic. Very simple things are missing such as trays for jewellery and for the manicure tools. Pulling tools out of the plastic bag and loading the used materials from the manicure onto the table beside me. Yuck. The massage oil certainly didn't smell of the sandalwood I had selected. Weird to be escorted through a bar to the elevators to go to the treatment rooms from reception. All in all, lovely massage, basic manicure and a less than luxe experience unfortunately.

The most perfect gel manicure I have ever had. I have been to a few different places in Auckland but this is a cut above, an absolutely flawless finish. The staff are lovely too. Erna is wonderful and my manicure from her was artfully done. My nails have never looked this good!

Came here for a nice massage from our hotel and was greeted by courteous and friendly staff and relaxing smells.The staff missed my welcome drink, but quickly gave me a water when I requested one.Had the aromatherapy massage for 60 mins and while it was great, it came with a steep price of $135. Would have been better if the rooms had showers so we can wash off the oils before dressing.Overall, it is a good place for a little pampering.

Shocking experience. In a nutshell- the masseuse took it upon herself to diagnose my partners medical issue (which he had only mentioned because he didn’t want her to touch the area), and told him that he shouldn’t get surgery because his diagnosis isn’t possible and that he only needed a massage to cure his problem. My partner recently had the surgery for his condition and the surgeon said if they hadn’t operated it could have been life threatening. Completely unprofessional and negligent behaviour from a masseuse- not what you would expect from a high end service.We emailed East Day Spa with a lengthy complaint and asked for a refund. They came back to us saying they couldn’t refund us and the masseuse denied everything. Surely if they cared about their clients they would have made an effort to seriously look into this and try to provide us with some solace and understanding- especially given that I was in the room with my partner and was witness to the entire thing!There was also the issue of the therapist pushing and prodding the area (which my partner explicitly said not to go near). She claimed that she was in the ‘medical massage’ field for 10years so her opinion is reliable.The whole experience was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and incredibly negligent. We would have felt a bit better if there were some steps taken to remedy the situation and we got our money back, but there weren’t. The only thing they offered was a complimentary massage of the same type- which we are not going to redeem because we have had such a bad experience.

Highly recommend the lux pedicures! We have them regularly for self care and wellbeing. A truly amazing experience from start to finish! Not only a great pedicure but and neck, shoulder and scalp massage too. Blissful.Even better you can order a cocktail from Gusto and they are able to bring it too you. Truly indulgent and value for money. Thanks team.
