Eaten here twice already, the portions are of a very decent size. The selection of dishes is big. I've eaten a Ramen, Fried Chicken with noodles and a few Sushi, misu soupTastes are good.Really recommend!

The sushi was pretty average tasting.Although the man at the till was relatively polite and friendly what really annoyed me was how LOUD the staff were!!!???I do not expect to be in a quite place as yes people talk to each other including staff but the females especially were laughing and speaking so loud I just could not enjoy my meal much and just finished quick and left.

If I'm being honest I was really exited to eat here I'm from NSW Australia and I was on holiday in NZ I felt like tuna sushi for lunch as I was eating it I felt it tasted old and dry and it looked terrible but it was so expensive I ate it anywayThe next day I woke up with an aching stomach I was vomiting and really in painI got really bad food poisoning from the sushi and it lasted 3 daysThe workers there were really dry and I would never try again

They said they close at 5pm and I dine in at 4.15pm but this is what I get. They requested us to sit outside because they want to clean the floor (ok, I understand that). But then they use a paper bowl because they don’t want to wash any more bowl ?? Dude, it’s not even half an hour before you close. If you don’t want to service your customers after 4pm just close the shop straight away.

If I could select 0 stars I would.I have visited Hikari a few times hoping for a better experience but it gets worse every single time.The staff are all extremely rude it is disgusting. They have zero people and hospitality skills.Highly DO NOT recommend Hikari.Even if I was starving I wouldn’t spend a dollar here.

The sushi was pretty good. You’ll get a complimentary miso if you ask for some. Though it’s very overpriced, it could cost $68 for two which isn’t what sushi outlet should look like.

WORST PRICE TO PIECE SUSHI VALUE IN QUEENSTOWN!!! Each sushi piece will set ya back at LEAST 3$ the sushi seemed like a slightly bigger then the value sushi down the road, I dont like this Sushi bar because of its Ridiculous Prices The sushi Was fine its just not worth the money ;-)
