Air New Zealand

I see a lot of people heralding this airline and I want to really, really caution future travelers against them. My father and I have had a terrible, awful, awful time and I would not wish this experience upon my worst enemy. There are other airlines that are not as shady, much more honest, and cooperative and guest oriented. After missing my international connection because another ANZ flight took off half an hour late (because they were waiting on other passengers), I was told by an terrible woman at guest services that she “didn’t have time for me and had other things to do.” We ended up rebooking with a different airline to fly home because I find this organization to be so dishonest and un-compassionate. I really caution future travelers. They’ve got a lot of great reviews, but when something goes wrong they are ultimately a business who is in this to make money off your misfortune. Please be careful.

Best airline in the world hands down

A average airline if no issues arise. But if there is any issue whatsoever, you'll need to wait over 2 hrs to talk to a customer service agent and will have to pay to fix any issues. Did your Flight get cancelled? Well you'll never get a hold of any airline agents, so you'll be forced to pay extra to change your flight. I want to warn any travellers, if you can avoid Air NZ at any cost, then please try to avoid them. They are an incredibly dishonest company that do not care about customer experiences at all. They have a monopoly in NZ and we are forced to use them, but please try your best to avoid them. I sincerely do not want other travellers to go through the frustration and worry I had to deal with in regards to this company.

Absolutely love flying with Air NZ! Their commitment to safety, customer service and overall flight experience truly sets them apart. The staff are consistently friendly, professional, and go above and beyond to ensure passengers are comfortable. Flights are typically punctual, and their communication regarding booking changes or updates is clear and timely. Plus, their efforts towards sustainability are commendable. I always choose Air NZ whenever I can - they exemplify what a top-notch airline should be. Five stars all the way!

Arrived flustered out of breath at 6:31 for my 7:00am departure from Queenstown to Christchurch on Friday 9th April and was told because I hadn’t checked in online that I wouldn’t be flying.There were no available seats on the later flights so that was that with $400 down the drain and I drove their and back instead

Counter service excellent on all four flights. Cabin service adequate but lacking much of the friendliness" of previous flights made. Cabin announcements were very difficult to follow due to very poor speech speeds and general speech clarity."

Great airline with, now, very good airfares! Awesome team looking after you in the plane, as well on the ground. Regular services throughout New Zealand.

Air New Zealand has always been my favorite airline.Professional friendly and well groomed staff.
