Alexander House Rest Home

Whilst all rest homes has their challengers, this one is no different. Sunday the 19th of October at 8pm, there was only 1 staff member on for 20 residents! until 11pm, when another staff member was supposed to arrive. NOT good enough!! Leaves that Staff member unaccountable for any concerns for the resident's well being /personal safety and belongings. I'm yet to understand how a retirement home can run 2hrs with only one staff member on site. Not to mention their own safety. As set down by D.O.L and O.S.H, this incident is in conflict with their regulations.Coming back to Staff numbers, I find it baffling that there are only ever two staff members on duty at any one time for 20 residents. The Government and more importantly we as a nation, must protect our seniors and tuffin up these poor policies.
