I really like staying here. It's always clean and fresh. The rooms are well laid out, the bathrooms are a good size and all have a bath, which is a nice little luxury. The beds are comfortable as are the sofas. They also have real plunger coffee. It's everything you want from a city apartment hotel, and just a little bit more.

Locations is great! but that’s where the good things end. The room had a balcony... overlooking a wall, no natural light, you couldn’t tell the time of the day or the weather, the bathroom was dirty, the fridge unbelievably noisy (going on and off all night), the ‘free high speed wifi’ was too slow to check the weather! If you’re looking for a convenient place to drop off your bags, that’s it but nothing more.

Great location to discover Wellington. Definitely recommend the city view rooms or you will end up in the dark, looking at a parking lot. Good amenities in the room. We asked for the room to be serviced, as apparently you have to request it. Anyway, they were too busy and did not do it. The swimming pool is in the building next door, so you have to walk across a carpark. The water was on the cold side. Not bad stay but not great neither.

My Mum and I had a lovely stay. The service at the desk was impeccable. A lovely young man gave us all the info we needed. Parking was safe and secure over night at a small fee, which is great for Wellington! Room was well maintained, clean and every amenity needed. Bathroom was spotless and the shower and bath were great!

This hotel caters for (in my opinion) the most essential criteria one would want for a short stay. We were upgraded (at the end of August in covid level 2) to a double bedroom, which we really appreciated, thank you Distinction. It is clean, very quiet, has very comfortable beds, excellent fridge freezer space & is very centrally located to food outlets. However the sound & picture quality, ease of use of the TV was seriously sad. Also the microwave at approx 1.7m high to the internal plate is seriously stupid & very possibly unsafe. Apart from that I would definitely recommend,Steve FranklinRotorua

Good location, room could have done with a sofa for two rather than a single seat.Needs a better selection of tea bags please. Otherwise clean with good facilities and nice spacious room, good view out to Mt Victoria too from our room on the seventh floor.Very warm rooms so needed to open the sliding door at night which meant we can hear the city night noises etc.Strange dungeon like pool

The studio apartment was clean and well appointed but very compact. Everything worked how it should, except the led light strip in the kitchen. All staff were friendly and helpful - this was a real highlight and the main redeeming feature of the stay! The view from our fifth floor apartment was of a carpark building, just metres away, making the room very public and so dark we had to have the lights on all day. There is only a ranch slider to a small deck. No air con meant we had to open the slider for ventilation and cooling (room was very stuffy and hot, even in June!) which was not ideal. Would only recommend the hotel if you ensure you get a room with some light and an opening window.

I'm not sure I'll stay in the Economy Studio again. There was no aircon in the room, a small heater was provided, but wasn't on, so the room was freezing cold when I got in at 10pm and went straight to bed. Also oddly there is a noisy full size fridge close to the bed, I forgot to bring earplugs. The curtains have to be pulled at all times because it faced a busy car park. The tissues were out and the toilet paper 2ply. There were not any better rooms available, it was the last.

Very disappointed with this accommodation. The photos on all the different booking sites and on their own site are not light and modern as shown. I had asked for a city view, but the first room we got was dark and smelled terrible and was nothing like the photos and the city view from the 8th floor was in someone's house. So they gave us another room which was on 2nd floor. This was set out like the photos but was dark and dingy. The white leather sofa and chairs were well used and didn't look clean. There were no books or flyers on how to use the TV and what services were available not even an AC unit just a wall heater that did not have any instructionson how to use it. We tried watching Netflix on our laptop but the wifi was rubbish and kept buffering all the time.I feel that the price we paid and the room we expected was definitely not what we got.

I have stayed here about 5 times and it is always a great place to stay. The rooms are exceptionally tidy and well appointed with comfortable beds and linen, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board, heaters etc.The front counter is manned 24/7. They are extremely professional, will accommodate holding your bags for you and you can charge back many fantastic local restaurants to your room.Easy walking distance to Te Papa, War Memorial and a host of city restaurants. My favourite feature is that if you get a room at the back of the hotel facing the rear parking building you have a really private balcony, and it is very quiet at night and early morning. The block out curtains are so amazing I overslept for two hours on my last stay! There is a secret gym and indoor swimming pool you need to ask about! Go for it! Enjoy!
