They have some good pastry (enjoyed my eclair!) but I was truly disappointed at my steak and double cheese pie. Crust is nice but the filling was grey, oddly gelatinous and bland with an odd dribbly cheese sauce. Such a shame as they claim their pies are great and charge accordingly. I will try a different flavour next time.

This Bakery beats the rest including edging the mighty fine Shirley and Hills rd bakers.Top quality and first time ever trying a Nacho Pie. The hand made pastry and carefully selected ingredients perfectly created and balanced in house. You literally taste the care going into these baked goods.Worth a little extra to shop here and 100% not justified to remove a star for the small price difference.

Came in the morning, thought the pies looked good but that's as far as the good was going to get. The chicken and camembert pie was bland, like boiled chicken and water bland, and I didn't come across any camembert cheese, it seriously needed some basic salt and pepper. Maybe next time.

Nah went to fish and chip shop and they good they bring my food too me in my car cos I'm on crutches means a lot. Just got a reply from Village Bakehouse Owner saying they do the same. I applaud you and I will be in to see you lol. The time was around 11:30am . Tell me do you put 3 slices of egg on you salad/ham rolls?

Absolutely love this wee shop. Amazing, super friendly staff and delicious coffee with a wee treat. I somehow have not tried the pies yet but looks like that needs to happen!Thank you for your friendly service, it’s not something you receive in many places now. I look forward to returning soon.

Great bakery with best French pastries. Friendly staff and outside seating area. Love that they have a pastry of the day. Parking busy. No toilets for public.
