Great service, had my wedding dress altered here. Price was good. They called and said they needed extra time which was fine with me, could tell they were busy.

Rose's are the best. If you need something to do with your clothes, trust them. They take care with your favourite trousers or must-revive top. The bonus is that, without fail, they're professional - yet always warm, personable, and friendly.Lots of parking down the back (if you're stopping by and have kids in the car or when the clearway is on).

Excellent service as always. I have not been disappointed in 22 years of service from Rose's. Staff are very professional and friendly. Perfect.

My daughter and I have paid quite a significant amount of money for clothing alterations to expensive, silk garments for my sons wedding. The stitching on my daughters dress is crooked and uneven with the silk fabric puckered and none of the garments have even been pressed. My daughter was asked to return for a fitting - when she got there on the arranged day - no one new anything about it - and the seamstress who requested the fitting was nowhere to be found. We travelled across Auckland for this service - probably shouldn't have.Edited May 1st, 2023 - I would like to add to this review and update it. Rachel has responded wonderfully to our unfortunate original experience - providing additional assistance with the alterations in a timely manner before my sons wedding. Sarah quickly and expertly updated the necessary changes - and Rachel assisted us with this at no charge and offered a partial refund for the original work. Our garments were pressed and protected with plastic on collection. Well done to Roses - and a four star correction to my original post.

Took a dress to have zip realigned. Simple job to do. Have newborn baby so for me to make a trip out the house is pretty difficult. Dropped my dress off early Monday morning and was told it would be ready for pickup Wednesday. Went to pick up my dress Wednesday at 11am, only to be served by a young blonde hair girl who was very rude and inconsiderate towards me and said the dress won’t be ready until 3pm that day. I advised that I was told it be ready on Wednesday and she just replied with it’s on the jobs to be done next. No apologies or anything for being an inconvenience to me. Won’t be coming back here ever again!
