- Great recycling facilities- Long drops but they weren’t smelly- Clean facilities- BEACHES ARE INCREDIBLE- Quiet, generous spaces and overall really peaceful.- Staff were wonderfulI’ll be back!

Absolutely best campsite we have had after 3 months of camping around the country!! I love the height difference of the whole place and that there are so many cool big trees, it just feels so naturally formed! The views over the ocean, with the amazing big waves are stunning! The toilets are super clean with a sink and everything! Maybe a hot shower could make it even better but honestly I dont care ;) Love It!!

Awesome camping spot with basic amenities. Good for kids with a safe clear water estuary and a good surf beach in the right conditions.

Loved this place, never been there & googled where to camp at whaninakei, this came up. We have 3 kids and I was a bit worried but the facilities were fine and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Cant wait to camp there again
