Lovely little place, shame my partners poached eggs were cooked to hard and not runny. I had toasted sandwich which for my 3 fillings were cheese tomato and onion then paid extra for bacon oops someone forgot the onion........

I normally don't write reviews of cafés, but this one really deserved a good one! Really good food, and not overpriced, with excellent service. I really loved the atmosphere of the café too, it was really warm and cozy, with indoor and outdoor sheltered seating. It's such a cool idea that they had blankets on the seats as it's winter so everyone can keep warm! And the games on the tables were a really good idea too!! Our table had mini connect four and Uno which would make the café an excellent place for families to keep the little ones entertained. At the smaller tables, there were puzzle books which would make the café also good for dining alone. Such a great place and really recommend going here if passing through Tirau.
