The shop itself is ok however there is no SAFE bike parking. There is a rack near the entrance but it is the type that is useless as you cannot get a D-lock through both the rack and the bike frame. If you have quick release wheels, you might as well just not lock your bike at all. Please install bollard or staple type racks. We tied our bikes to the railing at Hammer Hardware.

It is in the middle of the town. A useful place to buy ur groceries, beer and wine, bakery items, veges. The only supermarket available in Kaikoura. So, u dnt have much options to go for anyways. Self checkout was available. But, no cafe inside as I usually have seen in other outlets. Plenty of onsite parking is available. As being the only option, it is expected to be busy.

We stopped there to get some juices and snacks. It is an old New world store. There were things we usually find at New world we couldn't find (specially bakery).The staff was friendly and helpful but it seems they were not trained enough (they didn't know or have answers for many things we asked).

Lovely friendly staff with a good selection of fruit and vegetables and assorted grocery items. Prices reflect the fact that this is the only major grocery store in town.

Pretty straightforward and standard New World. A bit less selection than the Christchurch New Worlds, at least in terms of the specific items I was looking for, but I guess that's to be expected in a smaller city. Otherwise fine!

First of all: Really helpful and nice staff! But unfortunately the stock of vegetables and fruits is way under normal and overpriced... But I like the fresh foods and reasonable size.
