Waikato River Trails
These trails are great for young and old. Well kept and easy to access. There are mountain bikers and walkers sharing the track but everyone is courteous about it.

Hukka falls roars nothing less than a Nigara falls... One should definately visit here and use a track route to enjoy the Beauty of it

Great places to see along these trails . My favourite spot is the swing bridge at Arapuni .I lived there for over a year. So I know it well .

Very nice place. So relaxing. Clean as well. Very lovely. Some plants block very good view from designated viewing areas though--but generally really amazing place.

Waikato River Trails
Very nice trail in places - some parts a bit rough or along the road. Get the great rides app and check out the various sections. Our favorites were Little Wiapa to Arapuni and Mangakino to the motocross park on the way to the Dam. Need to go back and try some of the more tricky sections. Camping on the river at Little Wiapa looks nice.

Walking these trails almost every day has been a wonderful experience. With friendly people to meet along the way. The bird life is fantastic to listen to and sometimes seeing quail, pheasant often tui. Great for walking and biking.

It's great for riding or just parking up and going for walk. When you get to the swing bridge in Arapuni go and grab something to eat or drink at the Rhubarb cafe. The reason for the low rating is because if you don't time it right, the smell of cow shed effluent at the southern end of HoroHoro rd can be off putting to say the least
