Short Stay Car Park
A very quiet place if you need to contemplate your place in the universe. At the moment, there are few flights in and out of Christchurch, so the airport is mostly quiet, which makes it an excellent place to go to enjoy the silence and the lights. The best hours seem to be between 11pm and 4am.

This is a secure but expensive parking. Leave your car at home, ask family of friends to drop you and pick you up and use the $$ for something fun.

I’ve looked all over the website to get a precise definition regarding the difference between short stay and long stay. No useful information whatsoever.Finally found the information by looking at the sign on google maps. Which says 1hr-3 days. Very unprofessional.
