Cash Converters

My son went in to sell some items.. before heading to the store he had deleted his profile etc. He then went to the store where they said it didn't work. He questioned this and was told not work. They bought his games off him and offered to take him console off him. He declined. When at home he checked his console and was still working. These guys at Henderson cash converters seem to be dodggy...beware when selling items.

Cash converters not a bad store but I noticed they selling second hand electronic goods for almost same price as new goods. For e.g I saw an old ipad for $399! for that price you can get a brand new iPad so what value am I getting as a customer from buying a old iPad from cash converters for$399 for me nothing absolutely nothing. Total waste of money your spending $399 on an old ipad that probably can't run the latest ipados what can use it for a brick!And the list goes on I know they got make money but how do they make money when there selling second hand electronic goods priced the same as a new product? So I never buy here.But if I was offered a fair price I would . So $399.00 for a second hand ipad thats no value thats a called rip off.

What a rude staff, they really don't care what I said some reason. So first, I want to sell 60 dollar speaker. The quality is very good, no scratch and no marks. They said that they can only do 20. That's too low, u guys are ripping off!!Please don't come to this place.

Only accepted the price cause I needed the money. But very dodgy place. They always take note if it’s your first time there and try and lowball you. Be careful

I purchased a lawn mower on the 10/03/2022 from henderson cash converters, I was told from one lady it was a new mower and that they lost the bolts and nuts for the mower when they unboxed it as they got distracted. I was ok with that. Before I purchased the mower, I went to bunnings and purchased the nuts and bolts I was told was lost. Went back to cash converters to purchase the mower and dealt with a different lady, she then tells me it is a near new mower that has been used already. I look at it properly and notice grass in the catcher and on and under the mower. I say I was told this was new she says no it's not but it's near new. I purchase the mower take it home and notice the oil cap is missing. I call to see if I can take it back and get a yes. When I go to take it back they then say I can't get a refund as i used it. I told her no it was used before I purchased it and can ask that lady there that sold it to me as she said also it it a used mower. After trying to sort it out they didn't give my money back and sold me a dud mower.

Sold some items here several years ago to be fair. They were very low on the prices that they would pay/ I also pawned a ring there and the interest charged was diabolical. would never do that ever again.

18/05/23 Going in today and once again the staff are so unprofessional talking and swearing loudly amongst eachother, completely ignoring us and walking past us not asking if we wanted help. I actually think one of the people was the manager.There was one woman there either māori or pacific islander she was helpful and professional. We don't come to pawn things we come to look for gold and I've already walked out without buying anything from the rude service last time.Standing at the counter wanting to see a necklace and can see 2 staff members helping one person. Then the guy looks like he's coming to assist us and he walks straight past. No acknowledgement whatsoever.Um what kind of b.s customer service is that?! We will take our money elsewhere.
