Quaint and pretty country church. Decent parking at the Marae next door. Lots of trees and stained glassed windows for scenic photos. Well kept grounds. Seats around 100.

This is an old building by New Zealand standards. The mature trees and well looked after site make it feel like a secret place even though its just off state highway 2. This church has a significant history with the Revd Samuel Williams who is a significant historical figure in the area (he most probably designed the church). Despite the mature tree growth the church cuts a distinctive figure as you drive up towards Te Hauke. A beautiful spot worth stopping at to appreciate.
