Danceworks Queenstown & Arrowtown

Had the most amazing experience in Queenstown learning our wedding dance. It was one of the highlights of our trip as Louise was so knowledgeable and a great teacher. could not recommend enough! thank you so much as I know this will now be a real hit for our wedding

Two weeks out from our wedding and we finally got around to thinking about our first dance.  The only problem was that neither of us were dancers and so dancing in front of 100 of our family and friends was certainly outside our comfort zone.After a quick google search we found Danceworks and were put in touch with Louise.  Despite the short notice, Louise was only too happy to help.  Louise was patient and approachable and we felt very comfortable with her.  Most importantly Louise was actually able to teach us a dance that we remembered and were able to pull off on our wedding day.We cannot recommend Louise highly enough!

We had three dance lessons with Louise before our wedding! Louise was an amazing teacher and pulled together a routine for us to do for our first dance. Louise made us feel confident (even though we were both terrible dancers to begin with) and the first dance went perfectly. Louise was always on time and communicated well. If it wasn't for covid, we were keen to continue lessons with her after our wedding. We would totally recommend her!

We had private lessons for our first dance at our wedding and Louise was amazing!!! We told her our song and she choreographed a dance specifically for our dance level and liking - it was such fun! And we rocked it on the day too!!! Thanks so much Lou!

Louise was fantastic! We had no idea about how to go about making a first dance and Louise made it so easy for us and we felt super comfortable and relaxed the whole time. Managed to keep it a surprise for all our guests so was a big highlight of the night. Thanks so much Louise!

We had the best experience with Louise learning some Salsa for our wedding dance! Fantastic opportunity to learn from someone who clearly has some serious talent! Louise made us both feel very comfortable and confident with what we achieved and we had some amazing feedback from our wedding guests. 10/10, would totally do it all over again in a heart beat!
