One of the best lookouts in NZ, with over 200 degree of fisheye view, vast span of farm landscapes, rolling down to the expansive Kaipara harbour in the horizon. A great place to have a sandwich and a coffee on the bench after a long journey from Kaukapakapa on the winding SH16. If you travel on a clear day evening, you will also be astounded with beautiful sun setting in the western skies filled in amazing red, orange and yellow hues. You sure will feel sooooow relaxed here in such an eve!!

Stopped to enjoy coffee and outlook while waiting for traffic to lessen. Very windy today so not good for getting iut of vehicle to enjoy view.
