Stayed for a week for business trip. It is a good hotel with nice and tidy rooms and every amenities you can expect like tv kitchenette etc. Location was also convenient with ample parking space but seems to be fully occupied despite being a small town with little tourism.

I loved the spacious room I was given here and the staff were really lovely. I was also pleasantly surprised by how good my restaurant meal was here. I usually don't expect much from hotel restaurants but my steak meal was very tasty and the peppercorn sauce served on the side was one of the best I've had. There was also a good deal of it and it was enough to dip my chips in as well as my steak. Overall really good value and I hope to return.

Perfect for trips down to Oamaru. Booked at superior room. Sofa bed was already made up on arrival. Staff were friendly, helpful, rooms were exceptionally clean & tidy. Always enjoy staying here.

Spacious, very clean unit recently renovated with all the amenities youd expect at home. Have been travelling around the south island for 4 weeks and this motel would be one of my top 5 picks - good value for money. Proprietor very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent a night here at the end of the A2O trail. The rooms are well appointed but the service was lacking. No-one at reception when we arrived, told to go to the bar/ restaurant where the staff there were clueless. Meant to have complimentary shuttle but not enough staff to take us (it didn't look roadworthy anyway so probably a good thing!). Meant to get breakfast in our rooms, it never arrived despite having paid for it already. All in all very underwhelming!

As always the room and accommodation staff are excellent. And the rooms were all in use the nights we stayed.The only problem we had was that the Restaurant and Bar were both closed on the 4 nights we stayed. We were give no notice of this closer when we placed our booking. VERY Disappointing .The Accommodation staff were very helpful with eating out options.But having the Restaurant and Bar on site was part of the reason we booked here. Hope to hear back from the Management with some explanation.
