Paihia Pacific Resort Hotel

Great affordable place to stay. Just require few upgrade on room chairs. Nice pool to enjoy the summers and spa in winters.

It is not a resort just a mere hotel/motel which needs good upgradation. Rooms are so old, no telephone in the room. Breakfast was a total disappointment, we regret that why we paid extra for the breakfast. There were very limited option in breakfast with limited milk, coffee & so on.. continental breakfast could have more options & with sufficient quantity atleast about milk & coffee. Every time u have to ask for milk & to heat up the coffee. We visited in the month of June. The location is good but service needs thorough quality check. Nobody to attend during breakfast if you need something. Rooms are so old kind of only good thing was there was a heat pump. Even room service was a disappointment. They didn’t vacuum cleaned the floor.. will definitely not recommend this hotel for stay in Paihia. Go anywhere but not here

DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS. FALSELY ACCUSED OF DAMAGING THEIR REMOTE AND LAMP! LITERALLY WALKED IN, SAW THE LAMP SHADE TILTED, SO I FIX IT STRAIGHT, TURN IT ON AND ALL OK. THEN I PICK REMOTE UP OFF BEDSIDE TABLE, LITERALLY FELL APART THE MOMENT I LIFTED IT. ONLY TO BE BLAMED A COUPLE DAYS LATER. WAS 100% DAMAGED BEFORE I ARRIVED. SUSPICIOUS OF HOUSEKEEPING MAKING IT LOOK GREAT BEFORE CHECK IN! EVEN WHEN I LEFT, I ASKED RECEPTION IF ALL WAS OK AND HE SAID YES. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND FOR FEARS OF FALSE ACCUSATIONS AND UNNECESSARY CREDIT CARD CHARGES!!No. Will never stay there again and will endeavor to encourage everyone else visiting Paihia to avoid this motel.

Clean room and bathroom if a little dated. Courteous staff member at check in. Helped us with our luggage . Walking distance to main street and shops. Beach is at the end of the street . Breakfast was available in the dining room but we chose a café down the street.

Nice and tidy place. Comfortable beds very clean bathroom. Parking is free. Had breakfast included which was a nice option when traveling.

The rooms were nice and big. Good location easy to walk to town in 5 minutes. The hotel is a bit tired looking but the size of the rooms on a rainy day make-up for the dated décor! Very simple breakfast but plenty available and nice warm Danishes!I have no complaints about our stay

Doesn't look much from the outside, but the room was very clean and well equipped with working air con, tea, coffee, bathroom supplies. Poor noise insulation. Bathroom a bit tired. Good continental breakfast was included- range of breads for toast, danish pastries, cereals including a really good oat/ nut/fruit mix. Limited fruit. If you want a value stay in a clean room with breakfast and are not worried about furnishings/ bathrm being a bit tired this is a good choice.

Rooms are a great size however didn't enjoy using the sink I washed my hands in to clean my dishes and fill my jug up..... no cooking facilities at all... makes it very hard if your on a tight budget so wouldn't recommend unless your ok with living on takeaways as there isn't even a microwave! Not a favorite to stay but would stay again if last option available...

A great stay, spacious room and close to the centre of town. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Room service didn't clean the room for a 2 days stay.. probably because we were in the room but they should have told us so. Our dishes, cups, glasses were over and no dishwasher for us to clean, bins weren't cleared, towels weren't given when asked nor room serviced even after telling them that the same wasn't done. They just said only 1 service is done though we didn't avail it then. Not happy for a family room with children. Breakfast spread could have had eggs and omlettes on request.
