A stunning walk that takes you through magnificent countryside, bordered by snow capped peaks in winter and close to beautiful lagoons and waterways. Mt Earnslaw is impressively beautiful in the background and overlooks the walkway from all perspectives. Just spectacular. This is an easy, walk that begins as a stony road then takes you through grassland terrain, boardwalks across wetlands, and a well maintained path. The whole cicuit will take an hour and a half. A little longer when you stop to take in the view.

Good walk for all ages and wheel chair friendly. 1.5 hours will do it. There are two loops so the walk can be tailored to your needs and be much shorter.

Spectacular scenery on this easy access walkway. There are options for shorter and longer walks, so perfect for people of all fitness levels. Lupins marked the trail when I visited in December. Lovely light early morning or late afternoon during the summer. Weather can be changeable so be prepared for four seasons - bring a few layers!
