Don't just go in and buy taonga. Take your time, talk to the staff, hold the taonga, make a connection! Beutyful taonga across a wide price range.

The knot on my pounamu string needed replacing and the owners here were so gracious and quick in fixing it. The work was done well, on the spot, and for almost no cost. I'm certain they're not primarily in the business of repairing necklaces but I'm really grateful to them for doing so for me. Strongly advise stopping into their store and seeing their beautiful works, whether it's jewelry or art.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. This is a great place and a must visit if you want a special gift unique to Aotearoa. This is the second time I have visited, I needed a new cord for my greenstone pendant this time and they made one on the spot. Great range and great people to deal with.

They make it sound like it is a big place with tons of Māori art. They do have Māori jewelry mostly but it’s very basic and a small store. Nice stuff but I did expect more

Beautiful spot, reasonable prices. The binding on my pounamu had frayed and I was reluctant to leave it. The lovely wahine completely understood and fixed it for me. It was perfect.
