Easy click and collect service which meant I could be in and out quickly. Friendly staff who made the visit a smooth operation. All this despite it being so busy there was a que of cars waiting for parks.

Busy place with plenty to offer in regards to technology.Staff did the job to serve but were not very friendly.I guess customer service is lost on some people.

First time I've been there since the store was revamped. Much easier to find what you need and where to ask. Security guy greeted and smiles on entry. Best part of my visit.

Bad experience with staff… recommended another similar security camera much more expensive without notice it could not work alone and need buy more expensive items! Not the first time I received a right product at the first time! But there is only them have such of things in Christchurch, not much choices!

Good experience here. I ordered online and picked the items up a short time later. The staff were friendly and helpful. I purchased a few other things and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Discussed with two staff members, genuine and friendly people, but lack of knowledge and too much personal preference of their products.Asked about a windows laptop compared to Mac, one of the staff started talking about iOS and Android, maybe a slip of tongue or we misheard... another one recommended a laptop talked about the chassis made of titanium, which turned out to be aluminum, and claimed the other one plastic, which actually is magnesium-aluminum... disappointed...just need more training...

Lady behind desk with American accent. Extremely rude and UN helpful. Very much seemed like she didn't want to be there. Needs to be taught a lesson on customer service as you just lost yourself a $1,000 sale. Will look else where.

Had a fantastic experience with the repair staff this week. My PC was experiencing difficulties after upgrading my ram which was causing me a fair amount of distress, and the legendary repairman Riley sussed it out for me within 24 hours while being very friendly, understanding and professional. Thanks bro, my PC is working absolutely flawlessly!

PB Tech is good representation of tech industry in this country. Yes, you can get most things you are looking for mainly because is no competition and you can buy it usually cheap , but you get what you pay for. Staff is useless, mostly Asian and doesn’t speak any English, so they will never advise you on anything, unless you know exactly what you want don’t look for getting support in store. Finally whatever you buy - hope it better works and never breaks, as they don’t accept returns and repair will take months.

Really bad experience with PB Tech Hornby. I bought a 49 inch Samsung monitor together with a good size standing desk and other computer stuffs in early July. It was nearly $3000 all up. The staff was not know much about monitor and suggest me the LG one as an up sale move but I sticked with my choice. Around 10 days later, I found out that the monitor is $230 less as promotion. I rang PB Hornby branch, talked to a team member on the phone and asked if they would match the different and reimburse me. The guy said yes sure, come in the store and bring your card, we will refund you the difference. The next day, I came in to the store and got rejected from the same guy who solved me the monitor and being treated like rubbish together with his operation manager (the older lady). Totally opposite to when I purchased sth was nearly $3000 in the other day. They said they would never do that, the guy on the phone did not know anything when he said to me that they can refund me the difference. Got kicked out of that counter in the rudest way. I then rang the hotline phone number to explain the situation. He said to me email the pb tech websale email and they can sort me out. I haven't heard a thing from them since.I have purchased lot of stuffs from PB Tech as a loyal customer but after the way I got treated that day, I know that I will NEVER buy anything from them. My experience with Noel Leeming is much better than here and they do match the price in Noel Leeming.
