Took a very long time to get product,they arrived after we shut,so was told they would come earlier ..nect day the came after closing again. contracted them again and again told them our shop hours, and to leave parcel nxt door..parcel was on board 4 days longer due to the weekend now arriving

Better than my first experience with PBT. Slight delay but customer service was quick and informative when I emailed them. Friendly courier driver arrived today with my parcel for me to sign. Overall, this experience has been a good one.

Jo and the staff at PBT Palmerston North are amazing. They allow me to pick up my parcels and now the drivers which bring them from Auckland now take my packages straight into reception for me to collect. Thank you for being so helpful team PBT.

Ordered a cake topper from SweetPeaParties for a 21st birthday cake on the 20th Jan for the birthday on 24th. The cake maker sent the topper within three hours of ordering from Hamilton. Delivered from Hamilton to Palmerston North the next day, no problems. Sat there until the afternoon of the 26th when it was finally delivered LATE and missed the birthday and was also broken. We were supposed to sign on delivery to ensure it got to us safely but no signature, and was sitting on the driveway in reach of our dogs and where anyone could see it. PBT also said it was delivered to an address in Palmy when we live in Whanganui. It literally would have been faster to drive there and pick it up ourselves. PBT was uncommunicative, slow and lazy. No reason for the delay as clearly it could have been delivered to us as fast as it was delivered Hamilton-Palmy. PBT map tracking is also useless. Very disappointed, do not use this shipping company unless you want for your customers delivery to be late and damaged, or go missing. SweetPeaParties however was so lovely and communicative. If you ever need cafe stuff be sure to go through them!

When I heard my online order was going to be delivered with PBT I was extremely worried as I’d heard a lot of bad things about them. I was pleasantly surprised though when my order was delivered within 5 working days and was all correct and not damaged. The delivery driver who’s name from memory was Chris was fantastic, he called me up the morning of the delivery to make sure I’d be home and made sure my delivery arrived before I had to go to work for the day. I wouldn’t usually leave a review on a freight company but it was a pleasant surprise for me for a company that gets a bad rap

I ordered an item off an Australian website, and they stated they use PBT as their carrier. I needed help tracking my item, so I called the Palmy branch. Unfortunately, the lady on the line completely brushed me off. She said that the tracking I gave her was not the correct format (it was the only tracking detail given to me), and completely refused to help in any other way. I understand you ere busy, I work in retail and understand how difficult some customers can be, hence why I was trying so hard to be respectful and friendly, but completely brushing off a customer is incredibly disrespectful and rude. I ended up calling NZ Post and even though they couldn’t find any details, at the very least they were polite and told me to try either NZ Couriers or the sender. Why couldn’t PBT do that?

I ordered goods from Auckland and these were delivered to an incorrect address, Lower Hutt instead of Levin despite correct address on the parcel. PBT never recollected the parcel, as promised, or responded to my enquiry as to lost goods. VERY disappointed in this company'slack of follow up service. Fortunately for me the person that the parcel was incorrectly delivered to was honest. Wont be wanting to use PBT again.

So disappointed, delivery notes clearly stated must phone prior to delivery, no phone call was received, have arrived home to find the two pallets of goods, one of which has been placed directly behind my car, this blocking our one and only car in the driveway, one pallet neatly placed to the side, there was no reason the second pallet couldn’t have been placed in front of the first, there was lots of room to the side and no need to block the car in. Complete arrogance from the driver.

Brought an item from Australia. Item was pick/packed, flown over to NZ and cleared customs in less time than PBT are taking to bring the parcel from Wellington to Hamilton. The service is appalling. Items seem to sit for weeks and weeks at their regional depots. No communication from the company in response to finding out where it is. Pretty sure they have lost it. They have had it for nearly a month and it still hasn't arrived. Really really bad experience and not the first time. Companies - do not use PBT to send the items we are purchasing from you.
