Love the place. In the relatively short-time the place has been open, I have dined here 4 times so far. Food taste and quality is superb and very generous dish portion sizes. I love the decor (almost Moroccan), very attentive staff, and just has a great vibe. I wish the council would get a move on though and issue their liquor licence however, as good Indian food cries out for a cold beer or wine to go with it.My only minor niggle is that despite them having a plate warmer, reliably getting a properly, pre-heated hot plate has been a bit 'hit and miss' in the past unless specifically asked for (although I have been assured they are working on the hot plate delivery being more consistent in this regard and it's more of a new staff 'teething' issue).

Had takeaways a couple of times and the restaurant looked very inviting so we decided to try dine in. We were not disappointed. Service was amazing and staff very helpful and friendly. Food was very tasty. And servings were more than enough to fill you up. And also very family friendly. We will be back for dine in again.

If you are looking for a taste of India then this is the place to go to.... look no further, book now.Dined in with a party of 6. Absolutely beautiful place, wonderful service and amazing food. The staff were super friendly and the wait time was not very long. The food was absolutely delicious.Thank you to all the staff that made our dining experience one to remember. See you again soon.

I have eaten in this new Indian restaurant in Pokeno 3 times at lunch and evening. The food is outstanding, delicious, fresh and plentiful. Staff are always friendly and provide great service. it’s a great addition to a fast growing area and well situated away from housing areas. The owners have obviously invested a lot of time and money into this venture.

Delicious food but their staff need more training. I ordered take out for dinner and the lady took my order over the phone checked my order 3 times and even after that they stuffed up my order. Don’t know if it’s her fault or the chefs fault but this is the second time it’s happened which is why I am posting this bad review. Was a simple order and restaurant wasn’t even busy.

Absolutely outstanding! Sets the baseline for grading other Indian Restaurants in my opinion. The prices are competitive and their dishes are amazing. Further, I absolutely love the decor. The ceiling lamps have a hint of a Turkish motif in their glass but blend in seamlessly.

Great tasting food, very attentive wait staff. Get a decent size bowl of curry with lots of meat! been here twice and both times couldn’t finish and had to take it home. Lots of vegetarian options too which my partner has enjoyed trying. Prices are fair for the portion size. Once these guys get their liquor license will definitely be my regular.
